Bakit nga ba magandang mag-invest sa mutual funds?

1. Low capital requirement. P6,000 automatic mutual fund investor ka na thru IMG. Kung magdadagdag, P20 minimum pwede na.
2. Professionally-managed. May professional fund manager na pipili kung saan-saang companies maganda mag-invest kaya hindi ka na mahihirapan pumili lalo na kung bago ka pa lang nag-iinvest.
3. Instant diversification. Ibig sabihin yung P1,000 naka-invest na sa minimum 10 companies gaya halimbawa ng Jollibee, PLDT, Meralco, BPI, BDO, etc. Para kung hindi maganda ang performance ng ibang companies, mahihila pataas ng mga companies na maganda ang performance.
4. Strong track record. Maraming mutual fund companies ang more than 20 yrs na at malaki ang average na kinita sa loob ng mahabang panahon.
5. Very transparent. Required ang mutual companies na i-declare kung saan-saang companies naka-invest ang pera natin at kung magkano ang kinikita nito.
6. Safe and secured. Closely regulated ng Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC ang mga mutual fund companies.
7. Tax-exempt. Walang tax ang earnings sa mutual funds. Hindi kagaya sa bank na may 20% final withholding tax.
8. Zero sales load. Normally may kaltas na 3% to 3.5% na entry fee or sales load tuwing mag-iinvest sa mutual funds. Pero may paraan upang maging exempted sa sales load na ito.
