My teeth need a good freshen up after I had composite bonding done over 5 years ago, so I went to see Dr Vicky Ho • smiledesignstudio in Perth who walked me through what my current smile looks like from a professionals POV and what options are available to improve it 🦷🪥

I have an edge to edge bite where my teeth clash and sit directly on top of each other, so this could be part of the reason why I’ve now got chips in my composite bonding but they do say it will typically last 5-7 years anyway!

The tongue thrusting was a new term for me 😂 I was aware that my tongue rests against the back of my teeth and can also cause them to move, so apparently it now needs retraining..

Before looking at refreshing the bonding, we’ve decided to remove my top wire and gets some scans done for clear aligners to improve my bite 🫣 I know the pain of having braces already but never did I think I’d go through it again 😂
