Missed cardio club Wednesday .bali, no excuses though, so made sure I showed up today and put the work in.
Got a solid session with my good mate , then matched training with Athlete could be a HYROX partner in the future, who knows.

Looking back at this race, I’ve asked myself what I could’ve done better… honestly, nothing. Stuck to the plan and came in 4:02 faster than last year. Big PB across the board. The way I see it, I can hit 3–4 races a year with a proper structured plan, and still travel around Southeast Asia ticking places off the bucket list at the same time.
Now it’s time to switch off for a month from April 8. I’ve got a second hair transplant coming up. If everything goes to plan, I’ll be back competing in Jakarta at the end of June. Got my eyes on Chiba, Japan too… and aiming for that 1:06.
Got a solid team behind me and a strong community backing me all the way.

Representing .bali I've been backing me since day one.
Some clean running shots from Hyrox Beijing. 33 seconds quicker per 1km compared to my last race in Taiwan. All the work paying off.
Running 3x a week: Tuesday – intervals, Thursday – threshold, Saturday – zone 2 (10–15k)

Hyrox Beijing 2026 🇨🇳
That’s a wrap. Second Hyrox open done.
10 weeks of graft… all worth it. First one back in April last year I went 1:14:42. This time 1:10:40. Big PB. Big step forward.
Now it’s straight back to work. No messing about. Next one I’m calling it now — 1:06–1:08 is coming. And I’m not even thinking about going pro until I break that sub 60.

Beijing has been on my bucket list ever since I watched the Olympics back in 2012… and now here we are
Signed up for a Hyrox this year, and somehow it landed meme right here in Beijing. Funny how things work out. Tomorrow I get to put everything into something I decided to take seriously again.
Last 10 weeks… every single 4:45 am wake-up, day in, day out, all worth it.
Big thank you to Mr. Rudy & Miss Iggnit for the support, wouldn’t be here without you. And got my guy Simon with me, full-fill support, non-stop motivation in my ear the whole way 😂
Now it’s time. Let’s see what all that work really looks like.

The hard work is done. These last 10 weeks have been the toughest challenge I've ever taken on and I wouldn't change a single second of it.
I made the decision to work with the best, and that's exactly what I got. A fully structured Hyrox program, six days a week, one day rest (yes, just one 😅). I gave everything I had, showed up every single day, and stayed consistent no matter what.
But I couldn't have done it without Megan and James. Not just as coaches, but as genuinely incredible human beings. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Absolute diamonds. 🤝🏻💎❤️
Just minding my own business, out on a walk, thinking about my dad… and this guy catches me completely off guard. I couldn't even get my words out. Nobody has asked me that question since I lost him, and it hit me all at once.
The pain never goes away. It doesn't. But I'll carry his kind, warm hearted ways with me for the rest of my life. That part never leaves either. 🤍
