Canggu Scooter Lessons

In my opinion, scooter lessons are indispensable if you're riding for the first time, especially in Bali. Following that, Canggu Scooter Lessons are probably the best option you can get.

The two-hour lessons are held in their private parking lot in small numbers (when we were there, there were a maximum of two groups of two, and the timings were staggered one hour apart).

The instructors were attentive and friendly. Agus and Rico covered everything we needed to know riding for the first time, in the Bali traffic: turning at speed, u-turns, turning at low speeds, stopping and starting uphill, etc.

If you are able to grasp the basics fast enough, they bring you out on the streets to practice. The instructors ride at the front, and you ride your bike solo following them. They'll have walkie talkies to communicate with you, which is a very nice touch.

To ensure a solid foundation, our initial lessons are conducted on quiet, low-traffic roads. This approach allows students to comfortably master the fundamentals of driving on the left-hand side of the road, building the necessary confidence and muscle memory required before we transition into busier urban environments. I had one motorbike lesson to learn how to use the gears on a manual motorbike.
Rico the instructor was great. He explained everything clearly and gave good advice when I didn't get something quite right. After a bit of practice on a quiet road we drove on busier roads.
I now feel confident to ride a manual motorbike after one lesson. I'm very happy with the service I received from Canggu Scooter Lessons!
