Erwin Wurm’s major solo exhibition ‘Dreamers’ in Palazzo Pesaro, at the Museo Fortuny.
Venice Biannale May 6 to November 22, 2026

The One Minute Sculptures series explores the idea of the human body as sculpture; in other works Wurm anthropomorphises everyday objects in unexpected ways, adding legs to bags, contorting sausage-like shapes (Abstract Sculptures), or expanding the volume of technical and architectural objects (Fat Car, Fat House). 

Wurm’s highly contemporary pieces are housed in the Palazzo Pesaro. Previously the Atelier of Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo from 1898 to 1949, where he custom-printed fabrics, silk chandeliers, suits of armor, antique carpets, and furniture. This environment adds an effective and immersive juxtaposition. An experience not to be missed.

Silk Jogya Dress

The Jogya silk dress is cut in a way that deconstructs it’s original square form, creating a subtle asymmetry, a style statement we often play with. Wear it loose and easy or use the delicate belt string to change the silhouette bringinga light touch of ancient Roman majesty.  Featuring flowing kimono sleeves in contrast color silk and asymmetrical hemline.
Hand-painted Royale batik design is elevated by subtle watercolor effects, bringing softness and movement to the design.

“The Living Orders of Venice” an installation from the Venice Biennale 2025, where high design supports nature. By architecture & urban design practice, Studio Gang.

Pictured here are three animal nesting structures created for important species in Venice; bees, common swifts & noctule bats. Designed by Studio Gang in conversation with biologists, these prototypes attach to existing human architecture to support the specific habitat conditions (spatial, material, and behavioral) that each species needs to thrive. Their novel forms playfully engage the classical orders of architecture: capitals, columns, and entablature.

The motif named MY JUNGLE transforms natural inspiration into contemporary elegance, reimagining the wild beauty of the jungle trough bold botanical colored leaves in bright colors.

Crafted with a relaxed, flowing silhouette that drapes beautifully, it features a  left-side split for easy movement and long sleeves with splits on both sides for an airy, modern touch. The delicate thin silk belt string cinches the waist, defining your silhouette while maintaining that coveted loose fit. 

A bold Zebra motif handmade in batik  is framed by a stunning orange line on one side and on the sleeves, giving a chic touch of color.
