I am pleased to share that an interview with me has just been published in the latest Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art Magazine, ISSUE19.
In the conversation, I reflect on some of the central themes that shape my practice: urbanity, identity, digital culture, social inequalities, and the role of collaboration, new media, and research in my work.
Many thanks to Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art for the opportunity!

Wrapped up a group show in Vienna! From June 27 to July 3, I was part of “Glitches, Blips and Bugs” at Vienna Contemporary Art Space (WEST / Alte WE Bibliothek) — together with amazing artists pushing glitch aesthetics beyond screens.

Hung on chains, the images float in space, creating a reimagined urban memory that is at once intimate and alien.

I exhibited two bodies of work:
Scampia series (2022)
Naples’ Scampia was conceived as a modernist utopia but devolved into a symbol of decay and corruption. Today, most of its buildings are demolished. My paintings morph architectural realism toward abstraction—based on Google Maps imagery. Through pixelation and glitch, I symbolically dismantle the place and its failed history.
