For RTCT Diagnostics in Brunei Darussalam, the 5-diff., laser-based Norma Icon-5 hematology analyzer with closed vial sampling has been an integral part of their daily laboratory workflow since July 2024.

Processing an average of 5-10 samples per day, RTCT Diagnostics chose the Icon-5 to overcome long turnaround times from external laboratories and limited access to hematology testing.

During our recent visit to Spain, together with our local distributor , we had the opportunity to visit two oncology day hospitals in Madrid🇪🇸 where Norma Icon-5 hematology analyzers are helping support patient care.

In oncology, reliable CBC testing is essential for monitoring patients throughout chemotherapy and helping clinicians make informed treatment decisions.

📍 At Hospital Clínico San Carlos, two Norma Icon-5 analyzers were recently installed.

📍 At Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz, two Icon-5 systems analyze an average of 100 patient samples every day.

Earlier this month, our teammates visited Werfen, our distributor partner in Spain🇪🇸, for a two-day visit focused on collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The program included a tour of Werfen's headquarters in Torre Werfen (Barcelona), followed by visits to two hospitals in Madrid, where Norma hematology analyzers support everyday laboratory work.

We'll share more about these inspiring hospital visits soon.

Organized by the Regional Institute of Maternal and Child Health and Medical Specialties (IRMIE), the event brought together healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and explore the latest developments in clinical diagnostics.
