How do you raise a child who thinks for themselves online? 🤔

If you’re a parent, you’ve probably felt this already: no matter how much you try to keep up, you’re always one step behind. New apps appear overnight, trends shift in weeks, and kids use platforms you’ve never seen before.

It’s easy to feel like the only solution is more rules, more limits, more control. But here’s the challenge: rules only work for situations we can predict—and the internet is full of situations we can’t. 👀

Your child will come across things you didn’t prepare them for. Content that feels real but isn’t. Opinions that sound convincing but don’t tell the full story. Even AI-generated content that blurs the line between true and false.

In those moments, what really helps isn’t a rule—it’s a skill. The ability to pause, to question, and to decide. To ask: Who made this? Why? Can I trust it? And to notice when something feels off, instead of just accepting it.

This kind of thinking doesn’t develop overnight. It grows over time, through small experiences, questions, and even mistakes. At Logiscool, this is what we focus on: helping children build an inner compass—so they don’t just follow instructions online, but learn how to navigate, evaluate, and make decisions for themselves.

Because the goal isn’t to control every step they take online. It’s to know they’ll be able to find their way. 💬

Are children just using this world… or are they learning how to understand and navigate it? This is an important question, especially today, when we celebrate World Telecommunication and Information Society Day. 🌍

We often think of the digital world as something convenient. Fast. Entertaining. Always there. But this year’s theme—“Digital Lifelines: Strengthening Resilience in a Connected World”—reminds us of something deeper.

Digital technologies aren’t just tools; they’re lifelines. They keep people connected in uncertain times, they carry information when it matters most, and they support systems we rely on every day—often without even noticing.

But it’s not just only about infrastructure - It’s also about people—about the next generation knowing how to think, adapt, and make sense of what they see.

At Logiscool, this is what we focus on: helping children build the digital confidence and critical thinking they need to not just be part of the digital world—but to handle it, question it, and shape it. Because one day, they won’t just rely on these systems. They’ll be the ones behind them. 💬

Still deciding about school break plans? ☀️

Sometimes the best way to choose… is to hear it from other parents.

After last summer, many told us the same thing: their children didn’t just have fun at our camp—they came home proud of what they created, more confident, and full of stories to share. 👀💬

If you’re still exploring options, this might help you picture what the experience actually feels like.

We’re curious—which one would they go for?

Encourage them to vote for their favorite—and explore together which world sparks their interest more! 👀💬

Most passwords don’t get hacked—they get guessed.

🔐 Today is World Password Day which is a good reminder of the above statement. We usually don’t think about it. A birthday, a pet’s name, or the same password reused across platforms can be enough to open the door to everything else.

For children growing up online, this isn’t just a technical detail. Their games, messages, creations—even their digital identity—are all worth protecting.

And this is where it gets challenging for parents: you can set rules and remind them, but eventually, they’ll make their own decisions. Will they choose what’s easy, or what’s safe? Will they share it “just this once”?

That’s why internet safety can’t stop at “use a strong password.” It’s about understanding why it matters in the first place.
