🇬🇧 Behind every successful launch there are many small but essential components and tools.
The custom BME Suborbitals-branded ratchet straps produced by L.V. Technik play an important role in securing our rocket launch rail system, meaning they are used at every one of our launches. They were also with us at the EuRoC competition and have proven to be a reliable asset to our team ever since.

🇭🇺🚀 Június 5-én mi is részt vettünk a BME Alumnicon 2026 eseményen, a Műegyetem első egyetemi szintű alumni találkozóján.

Az Műegyetemi Versenycsapat Közösség több versenycsapatával együtt lehetőségünk nyílt bemutatni a munkánkat az egykori hallgatóknak, valamint betekintést adni abba, hogyan tervezünk, építünk és tesztelünk rakétákat csapatunkban. 🔧

🇬🇧🚀 On June 5, we also participated in BME Alumnicon 2026, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics' first university-wide alumni reunion.

Together with several other teams from the BME Competition Teams Community (MVK), we had the opportunity to present our work to former students and give them an insight into how we design, build, and test rockets as a student engineering team.🔧

It was a great opportunity to connect with the BME alumni community and showcase the exciting projects that today's students are working on.

🇭🇺 Sikeres ejtőernyő dobásteszt motoros sárkányrepülővel! 🚀✈️

Áprilisban csapatunk sikeresen végrehajtotta új recovery rendszerünk első dobástesztjét. A teszt során repülési körülmények között vizsgáltuk egy prototípus reefelhető ejtőernyő tulajdonságait, sok hasznos adatot gyűjtve a végleges modell elkészítéséhez.

🇬🇧 Successful parachute drop test from a paramotor! 🚀✈️

In April, our team successfully carried out the first drop test of our new recovery system. During the test, we evaluated a reefed prototype parachute’s performance under flight conditions, gathering useful data to improve the final design.

🇭🇺🚀 Csapatunk idén is részt vett a TechTogether mérnökhallgatói versenyen, ahol több izgalmas szakmai megmérettetésen vettünk részt a Hungexpo területén.

A kétnapos verseny során különböző mérnöki és problémamegoldó feladatokkal találkoztunk, amelyek kreatív és gyors gondolkodást igényeltek, és jó lehetőséget adtak a gyakorlati tapasztalatszerzésre is.

Az eseményről az SMC Hungary Kft. különdíjával térhettünk haza. 🏅

Köszönjük a szervezőknek a lehetőséget, a résztvevő csapatoknak pedig a versenyt és a jó hangulatot! 👏

🇬🇧🚀 Our team once again took part in the TechTogether engineering student competition, where we engaged in several exciting professional challenges at the Hungexpo venue.

During the two-day competition, we faced a variety of engineering and problem-solving tasks that required creative and fast thinking, providing a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

We returned from the event with the Special Award of SMC Hungary Ltd. 🏅

We would like to thank the organizers for the opportunity, and all participating teams for the competition and great atmosphere! 👏
