Gödöllő is situated 15 miles away from Budapest.The palace was the summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sisi) and Francis Joseph (Habsburg Emperor & Hungarian King. During our visit
I will show the rooms that have regained their splendour and make you familiar with the life of the royal couple.Than we can go for a stroll in the garden a have a cup of coffee in the palace.

LAKE BALATON AND HEREND TOUR :

This tour is the perfect way to experience the Hungarian 'sea'.
Lake Balaton is a freshwater lake in the Transdanubian region of Hungary.
It is the largest lake in Central Europe,[and one of the region's foremost tourist destinations with rolling hills and scenic wine regions.

The highlights of the tour:

- Amazing landscape,rolling hills
- Visit to the famous Herend Manufactory
- Visit to the Tihany Abbey
- 3 course lunch with wine

First we drive to Herend,the world's largest Porcelain Manufactory, founded in 1826.
After seeing a 3D movie about porcelain making,a guided tour shows you the interesting details.This is where all that had been seen and heard in the film come to life.They also have a museum where a huge collection of Herend porcelain is exhibited.
Then I will invite you for a cup of coffee and will enjoy time for shopping.

Next we drive to Lake Balaton, which is known to be the largest fresh-water lake of Central Europe. During a pleasant walk on the Tihany Peninsula you can enjoy breathtaking views, a visit the 1000 year old Tihany Abbey
and rural folk architecture.You will also have time to purchase local souvenirs,
before you can enjoy your 3 course lunch with wine.

After that we will drive to Balatonfüred, which is considered the oldest spa resort in Hungary, where we will walk along the famous promenade and see its 19th century historic center.
Finally, we return to Budapest.
