felt like a space to slow down, listen, and create 🌿
Through this Training of Trainers, we explored how music can open spaces for participation, connection, and expression. Youth values became the base for our creative process — shaping songs, ideas, and conversations.
Along the way, participants stepped into facilitation roles, experimenting with leading, holding space, and working with groups through music.
And somewhere in all of that, a real sense of connection and community emerged.
BIG THANKS to everyone that made it happen.
Stay tuned for our song release “Give us 10 years”

What do European values sound like?
Values like democracy, inclusion, solidarity, and human rights are at the heart of Europe. But how do we connect with them in our everyday lives?
Through music, we turn these values into something you can hear, feel, and share.
Watch our Songs for Rights music video through link in bio.
This is how we bring EU values closer to young people — not as abstract ideas, but as lived experiences.
Because culture and creativity are powerful tools for participation and change.

What are the European Youth Goals — and why do they matter?
They are not just policy ideas. They are the result of thousands of young people across Europe speaking up about what really matters in their lives.
From mental health and wellbeing, to climate action, inclusion, participation, and quality education — the 11 European Youth Goals reflect a shared vision for a better Europe.
During European Youth Week, these goals come to life through events, discussions, and creative expression.
At Songs for Rights, we translate these goals into music, dialogue, and storytelling —because policy should not only be understood, but also felt.

European Youth Week starts today!
From April 24 to May 1, young people all across Europe come together to celebrate participation, creativity, and the power of youth voices in shaping our future.
Rooted in the EU Youth Strategy, this week is all about three key ideas:
ENGAGE – young people in democratic life
CONNECT – young people across Europe
EMPOWER – young people to take action
At Songs for Rights, we bring these principles to life through music, dialogue, and creative advocacy — making EU values and youth policies accessible, relatable, and alive.
Over the next days, we’ll share voices, music, and opportunities to take part.
Follow, engage, and be part of the movement! 🙂

What does it mean to create in times of AI?
At Songs for Rights, this is something we actively question.
In a world where things can be generated in seconds — fast, automated, almost perfect — creation is still something else.
A process. A search. An encounter.
Art is not just the outcome.
It’s what happens in between — where we meet others, and ourselves.
AI can be a powerful tool.
But it doesn’t replace human intention or responsibility.
If there is no human intervention, who is the author?
And who is accountable for the impact?
AI builds from what already exists — from human stories and creations.
So our role doesn’t disappear. It becomes essential.
