Snimanje beba u studiju traje cca sat vremena. Slikavanje se odvija uz raspoloživo dnevno svjetlo, najčešće bez bljeskalica i ostalih umjetnih rasvjetnih tijela. Najbolje je snimati tijekom jutra kada su bebe najraspoloženije. Optimalna dob za fotkati dijete je oko 6-8 mjeseci kada sjede, a još ne pužu. Nakon što krene puzanje i prva podizanja na nogice
