Kulturni događaj sezone na Pjaci! 🏛️🎨

U četvrtak je u Staroj gradskoj vijećnici svečano otvorena izložba „SUB SPECIE LUCIS – Emanuel Vidović / Zvonimir Mihanović”, koja je okupila brojne Splićane, umjetnike, uzvanike i ljubitelje umjetnosti. 🎨🖼️

Izložba Muzeja grada Splita donosi susret dvojice velikih splitskih umjetnika – različitih generacija i slikarskih jezika, ali povezanih motivima Dalmacije, Mediterana, svjetla, mora i tišine. ☀️🌊🖼️

Izložbu možete posjetiti u Staroj gradskoj vijećnici sve do 27. rujna 2026.

The cultural event of the season on Pjaca! 🏛️🎨

On Thursday, the exhibition “SUB SPECIE LUCIS – Emanuel Vidović / Zvonimir Mihanović” was officially opened at the Old City Hall, bringing together numerous Split residents, artists, distinguished guests and art lovers. 🎨🖼️

Organized by the Museum of the City of Split, the exhibition brings together two great Split artists – from different generations and with distinct artistic styles, yet connected by the motifs of Dalmatia, the Mediterranean, light, the sea and silence. ☀️🌊🖼️

The exhibition is open to visitors at the Old City Hall until 27 September 2026.

Mladi ambasadori Splita na Rivi! 🏛️🌊☀️

Učenice Turističko-ugostiteljske škole Split ovog su ljeta, u suradnji s Turističkom zajednicom grada Splita i Policijskom upravom splitsko-dalmatinskom, pomagale turistima na splitskoj Rivi. 👮‍♀️

Uz Mobilni preventivni centar policije odgovarale su na pitanja gostiju, pružale informacije o gradu, prijevozu i znamenitostima te svojim znanjem stranih jezika i komunikacijskim vještinama pridonijele ugodnijem boravku posjetitelja.

Istovremeno, policijski službenici pružali su informacije o sigurnom boravku u Splitu i provodili preventivne aktivnosti.

Za učenice je ovo bilo vrijedno iskustvo izvan učionice i prilika da svoja znanja primijene u stvarnim situacijama. Njihov angažman pokazao je koliko mladi mogu pridonijeti stvaranju otvorenog, sigurnog i gostoljubivog Splita. 🤝💙

Jer Split nisu samo more, sunce i znamenitosti – Split čine i ljudi.

Projekt se provodi u suradnji Turističke zajednice grada Splita, Turističko-ugostiteljske škole Split i Policijske uprave splitsko-dalmatinske, a angažman policijskih službenika na Rivi traje do kraja rujna.

Young Ambassadors of Split on the Riva! 🏛️🌊☀️

This summer, students from the Tourism and Hospitality School Split, in cooperation with the Split Tourist Board and the Split-Dalmatia Police Department, have been assisting tourists along Split’s Riva waterfront. 👮‍♀️

Together with the Mobile Police Prevention Centre, they answered visitors’ questions, provided information about the city, transportation and landmarks, and used their foreign-language and communication skills to help make visitors’ stay in Split even more enjoyable.

At the same time, police officers provided information on staying safe in Split and carried out preventive activities.

For the students, this was a valuable experience outside the classroom and an opportunity to put their knowledge into practice. Their engagement showed how much young people can contribute to making Split an open, safe and welcoming destination. 🤝💙

Because Split is not only about the sea, sunshine and landmarks – Split is also about its people. ❤️

The project is carried out in cooperation with the Split Tourist Board, the Tourism and Hospitality School Split and the Split-Dalmatia Police Department, while the presence of police officers on the Riva will continue until the end of September.

Plazma Sportske igre mladih 2026. slave 30 godina promicanja sporta, prijateljstva, tolerancije i zdravog načina života među djecom i mladima. S više od 300.000 sudionika u četiri zemlje i deset sportova, Igre su najveća amaterska sportska manifestacija u Europi. 🏛️🏆🏅

Ovogodišnje veliko finale održano je u Splitu, a Prokurative su bile jedna od atraktivnih lokacija na kojima su se održali košarkaški turnir 3x3 Sprite Cup i revijalna All-Star nogometna utakmica, koja je okupila neka od najvećih imena svijeta nogometa i sporta, među kojima su bili Zlatan Ibrahimović, Aljoša Asanović, Darijo Srna, Mario Mandžukić, Nemanja Vidić, Marcel Desailly, Emir Spahić i Vedad Ibišević.

A sportska uzbuđenja se nastavljaju!

Od 17. do 29. kolovoza, na Prokurativama će se održati Tennis Summer by Goran Ivanišević, koji će u Splitu okupiti mlade tenisače iz Hrvatske i inozemstva. 🎾

Goranu Ivaniševiću na terenu će se pridružiti Borna Ćorić i Iva Majoli, u još jednom slavlju sporta, talenta i prijateljstva u srcu Splita.

Plazma Youth Sports Games 2026 are celebrating 30 years of promoting sport, friendship, tolerance and a healthy lifestyle among children and young people. With more than 300,000 participants across four countries and ten sports, the Games are the largest amateur sporting event in Europe. 🏛️🏆🏅

This year’s grand finale took place in Split, with the Prokurative as one of the spectacular venues where basketball 3x3 Sprite Cup and the exhibition All-Star football match brought together some of the biggest names in football and sport, including Zlatan Ibrahimović, Aljoša Asanović, Darijo Srna, Mario Mandžukić, Nemanja Vidić, Marcel Desailly, Emir Spahić and Vedad Ibišević.

From 17 to 29 August, the Prokurative will host Tennis Summer by Goran Ivanišević, bringing together young tennis players from Croatia and abroad.

Goran Ivanišević will be joined on court by Borna Ćorić and Iva Majoli for another celebration of sport, talent and friendship in the heart of Split. 🎾

In July 2026, Split achieved a 93/100 visitor satisfaction score, up 1% compared to the same period last year. A total of 25,995 reviews were collected.

Visitor satisfaction is particularly improving in food, service, and overall experience.

The results of the IQM Destination Split project, carried out by the Split Tourist Board in cooperation with Feel IQM, confirm that Split is continuously raising the quality of the visitor experience. 💙

U Stobreču je u nedjelju i ponedjeljak obilježen blagdan svetog Lovre, uz bogat program koji je okupio brojne mještane i goste. 🙏🎉 🏛️

U nedjelju, uoči središnje proslave i misnog slavlja, održana je Ribarska večer uz srdele s gradela, domaće vino te nastupe Johnnyja Gitare, Festivo banda i Jole. 🎶🍷🐟

U ponedjeljak je proslava nastavljena svetom misom i procesijom ulicama Stobreča, dok su večernji program upotpunili nastupi Klape Iskon i Siniše Vuce. 🙏 ✨🎤🎶

The Feast of St. Lawrence was celebrated in Stobreč on Sunday and Monday, with a lively program that brought together locals and visitors. 🙏🎉🏛️

On Sunday, ahead of the main celebration and Mass, the traditional Fishermen’s Night featured grilled sardines, local wine, and live performances by Johnny Gitara, Festivo Band, and Jole. 🎶🍷🐟

On Monday, the festivities continued with Mass and a procession through the streets of Stobreč, followed by evening performances by Klapa Iskon and Siniša Vuco. 🙏 ✨🎤🎶
