Peristil - main square of the beautiful Diocletian's Palace. It was used as a place for major events in the palace and speeches of the Emperor Diocletian. It is interesting that on the side of the facade is placed perfectly preserved Sphinx. Due to its excellent acoustics often serves as a natural stage. In the summer evenings people gather on the steps of the 1700 years old square of Peristil, listening to live music, drinking, enjoying and dancing. Do not miss one of the most beautiful things in a typical summer night in Split!! :)
