Proud Moment for CSK: Dr CHOW Kai Ming, Our Esteemed Old Boy, Recipient of the Outstanding Staff Award 2026

We are proud to announce that Dr CHOW Kai Ming, a distinguished graduate of Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College, has been honoured with the Outstanding Staff Award 2026 by the Hospital Authority.

Dr Chow currently serves as Chief of Service / Consultant (Medicine and Therapeutics) at Prince of Wales Hospital under the New Territories East Cluster. This prestigious award recognises his exemplary leadership, professional excellence, and unwavering dedication to patient care and medical service.

The Outstanding Staff Award is presented to individuals who demonstrate outstanding performance, commitment, and contributions to healthcare. His story shows us the extra mile he walks, as a public hospital doctor for 30 years, for each and every of his patients, as well as his colleagues.

The Laurel School Award (2025–2026) serves as the annual report card for Hong Kong’s inter-school sports competitions, benchmarking the pinnacle of athletic excellence across the region. This year, after months of training and demonstrating strong determination in fierce competitions, Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College has achieved an extraordinary milestone.

Our sports campaign was fueled by the collective grit of seven dedicated school teams: Athletics, Swimming, Basketball, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cross Country, Fencing and Bowling. Following a year of intense perseverance, our athletes’ hard work culminated in a historic moment as our school captured the 1st Runner-up (Silver Award) position in the Boys' Secondary Schools Category. This prestigious ranking proves that CSK is one of the best schools in the local school sports arena.

Beyond our collective team success, we are thrilled to celebrate outstanding individual achievements within our Athletics team. Leung Wai Kwan from Class 5B was honored with the Laurel Award for Outstanding Athlete (Athletics Division 2) for his exceptional performance. Yu Zan Fung from Class 2B received the Laurel Athletics Rising Star Award (Division 2), recognizing his talent and potential.

A triumph of this magnitude is never achieved alone. This outcome reflects the strong spirit of the entire CSK family. We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated teachers-in-charge and coaches for their guidance, and to our parents, alumni, and students for their continuous support. It is the collective commitment that empowers our athletes to push boundaries.

Let us carry this momentum forward and continue to strive for excellence in the years to come!

We are overjoyed that the **CSK C‑Grade Badminton Team** has won the **Division 2 Championship** this year! 🥇🏆

A big thank you to the Principal, teachers, parents, alumni and senior students for coming to support and cheer them on. The team fought back from 0–2 down to win 3–2 and claim the championship title!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Lee Bing Keung, former Principal of Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College, on 14th May, 2026. His dedication and leadership will always be remembered. We extend our sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in eternal peace.

恭喜黃錦榮老師榮獲「2025香港優秀教練學校優秀教練獎」！

本校體育科科主任黃錦榮老師榮獲由香港教練培訓委員會主辦的「2025香港優秀教練學校優秀教練獎」，並於2026年3月21日的頒獎典禮中獲頒授此獎項。此獎項旨在表揚其在體育培訓及推動運動發展方面傑出的表現，及肯定他多年來對體育界及學生成長的貢獻。

黃老師擔任本校體育科科主任以來，一直盡心盡力推動學校體育發展，積極培育學生對運動的興趣，並在田徑訓練與校隊發展方面投入大量心力，務求讓同學在體能、紀律與團隊精神各方面都得到全面成長。此獎項代表了對黃老師工作的肯定。恭賀黃老師！期盼本校同學能夠積極參與體育活動，鍛鍊身心，為校園生活增添活力與光彩。
