Rodeo began at Pirara Ranch in the 1960's, and was later held at St. Participants are mainly local cowboys, with very few professional rodeo riders.

Ba****ck Bronco is judged on skill, control, and performance 🀠🐎. Riders must stay on for at least 8 seconds to qualify, while female riders must complete 5 seconds ⏱️. The ride is scored based on the rider’s balance and control, along with the horse’s performance, including agility, speed, and strength. Higher scores are given when riders encourage bigger bucks while maintaining rhythm and matching the horse’s movement. Male riders are required to keep one hand raised (free arm) πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ for the duration of the ride. If the free arm touches the rider or the animal at any point, it results in disqualification
