On Sunday, June 7th, members of the Golden Om Dharmic Youth Organization and Dance Group enjoyed a refreshing outing to 63 Beach and Skeldon National Park as a token of appreciation for their 20th Anniversary.

The trip provided an opportunity for members to relax, connect, create lasting memories, and enjoy a day of fun outside their usual activities. It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of balancing service with fellowship, recreation, and personal well-being.

Too often, men are taught to stay silent, push through the pain, and carry every burden on their own. Society praises resilience but rarely creates space for vulnerability. As a result, many men struggle in silence, believing they have to handle everything themselves.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, we must recognize that mental health challenges do not discriminate. Stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, and emotional exhaustion can affect anyone. Behind the smiles, achievements, and daily routines, many men are fighting battles that others cannot see.

Checking in on the men in our lives should not only happen during moments of crisis. A simple conversation, a genuine “How are you really doing?” or a listening ear can make a meaningful difference.

Seeking help is not a sign of weakness. It is an act of courage, self-awareness, and strength. Every man deserves the opportunity to speak openly about his struggles without fear of judgment or shame.

This month, let us continue to challenge harmful stereotypes, encourage honest conversations, and remind every man that he does not have to carry life’s weight alone.

Your mental health matters. Your voice matters. And your life matters.

They proudly represented not only our dance group, but also the beauty of Indian culture through their performance. We are incredibly proud of them and grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a national celebration. 💛
