Guyanese citizens can now travel to Saudi Arabia on a visa on arrival or e-visa, with no US, UK or Schengen visa needed first, and no agent or embassy visit required. Guyana is now the only country in South America with this access.

One more door opening for Guyana on the world stage.

Long before Guyana spoke English, it answered to the Dutch. 🇬🇾

From the early 1600s they built three colonies here, Essequibo, Demerara and Berbice, and the marks are everywhere still: the canals draining Georgetown, the place names on the map, and old brick forts quietly crumbling into the forest and riverbanks. History you can reach out and touch.
