Patriotic Day | Cook up Competition at Tutorial Academy Secondary School | Pt.2

As part of our Patriotic Day celebrations, students and teachers participated in an exciting culinary challenge centered around one of Guyana’s most beloved traditional dishes — Cook-up Rice.

Teams were tasked with preparing their own version of Cook-up using ingredients sourced from their pantry and garden, encouraging creativity, teamwork, sustainability, and appreciation for our local produce.

A big congratulations to all participating teams for showcasing true Guyanese spirit through food, culture, and creativity.🇬🇾

Today, the students and staff of Tutorial Academy Secondary School proudly celebrated our nation’s rich culture, history, and achievements during our Patriotic Day activities in observance of Guyana’s 60th Independence Anniversary.

Clad in vibrant national colours, everyone came together to showcase the true spirit of unity, pride, and patriotism that defines our beautiful nation.

As Guyana celebrates this historic milestone under the theme: “Homecoming- Guyana’s Diamond Jubilee” we reflect on how far our nation has come and look forward with hope and determination toward an even brighter future.
