' Hello Good morning, my name is Mr. Sean Blue as is stated above,
I made a purchase of one Polar refrigerator and one English Daewoo washer from your establishment last Saturday November 12th and had them delivered late to my residence at lot 296 tuckeit drive south ruimveldt gardens (around 7pm though I was told they would be around 4:30pm at the store) after having called numerous time to enquire about the lateness of the delivery driver which affected my departure schedule.
When your delivery driver finally came, I signed for and inspected both appliances and made my way out as I was already behind schedule. Though the machine I selected in the store was in complete English I still opted to keep the Spanish one that was delivered to my residence as i was pressed for time and decided that I'll just use simple translations to operate it when I returned.
Upon arrival and after setting up the machine (today november 20) wholly using the complete Spanish manual, I proceeded to turn on the appliance. To my dismay, ONLY the spin cycle section of the machine WORKS, I rechecked to ensure that i followed the steps correctly and got the same results.
I'm extremely disappointed in the fact that not only did I not get my moneys worth AT ALL with regards to this appliance but this also sets me back again as I now have to find an alternative to get my belongs laundered before tomorrow hence taking up more time than I am.able to give.
I called the store but got no answer, so I'm assuming you guys haven't started to extend your shopping days. I'm writing you this missive in hopes of a speedy and fair resolution.
I will be visiting your establishment tomorrow with receipts of every purchase I've made from your establishment and I hope to have it resolved professionally and in a timely manner as I would now be incurring additional expenses to ameliorate the trickle down effects of this setback. Attached are some photos to back up my claims.'

We are deeply disappointed to see the misinformation being shared on social media regarding the matter discussed herein.
Please see our response below & we still invite the customer to return to the store to facilitate an exchange:

The management & staff of Regent Household Electronics wish to express concern regarding misinformation being shared on social media regarding the return of an item by a customer.
First and foremost, we are of the firm belief that consumers do have rights and we ensure ALL items are checked before departing the store to avoid complications with returns. When an item is returned however, the law provides that a receipt is required as proof of purchase and that we may choose to repair the allegedly defective item within fourteen (14) days. In the present case, the customer returned the item and received it after four (4) days. The item was available for her to receive before the 4TH day complained of, but it was on the fourth day that she chose to uplift it.
Typical with many businesses, when an item is returned the supplier must determine whether it is indeed defective, whether it can be repaired, and whether it became defective due to the customer’s misuse, neglect or some other factor. This is also provided for by the law in order to determine how to treat with the return, especially when the item was tested before leaving the store, as was the case with this customer's item.
As such, a customer is not entitled to demand an automatic and immediate exchange upon returning an item that is allegedly defective.
We repaired the item for the customer and returned it to her in working condition. However, a few days later she returned the item without her receipt. As is standard policy and law, the receipt is required. The employee at the time informed the customer of this and indicated she will have to speak to the Manager if an exception can be made. We were surprised to see the customer proceeded to publish misinformation on social media regarding this matter.
As at this morning, we informed the customer to return the fan in order to uplift a new one as the manager had approved an exception given the circumstances.
At the current posting of this notice, the customer has not visited the store but continues to share how “unreasonable” the business is being.
There are two sides to every story and we urge users of social media to be cautious in sharing misinformation and reckless statements. We take customer service and feedback extremely seriously and it is for that purpose, we are prepared to satisfy our customer and ensure continued patronage.
