Brethren, Psalms 70:1 NKJV
[1] Make haste, O God, to deliver me! Make haste to help me, O Lord!

Topic: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED.
Part Seven

Scripture Reading: Colossians 1:16 NKJV
[16] For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Colossae, teaching them that Jesus is not only their local Savior but the Lord of all creation. This passage is often called the "Christological Hymn" because it presents Christ as the cosmic ruler of the universe.

"By Him all things were created..." Paul uses the Greek word *en*, implying that Christ is the architectural sphere of creation. All of God's creative blueprints exist within the mind and person of Jesus.

"...through Him and for Him." This establishes Jesus as both the agent and the goal of history. Creation came through His power and moves toward His ultimate glory. History is literally His story, moving toward a final resolution where He reigns supreme.

Paul divides the universe into pairs of opposites to show that absolutely nothing is excluded from Christ's authority. Both heaven and earth—the totality of space, location, and dimension—are under His authority.

The visible and the invisible encompass both the material world (plants, stars, and humans) and the immaterial world (the laws of physics, human souls, and angelic realms). Everything is under the authority of Christ.

Whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities, all are subject to Him because they were created by Him and for Him.

Did you know everything visible and invisible is subject to Christ's authority?

Tomorrow we will be looking at (ALL THINGS WERE CREATED) Part Eight

Hallelujah! Praise God! Thank You, Jesus!

Brethren, Psalms 34:1 NKJV
[1] I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Topic: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED.
Part Six

Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:26 NKJV
[26] Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Humans are uniquely created to reflect God's character, possessing attributes such as reason, morality, and the capacity for relationships. Every human being is made in the image of God, which serves as the biblical foundation for universal rights, equality, and human worth. Dignity is not earned by status or ability; it is given as a birthright.

Genesis 1:27 makes it clear that God created male and female. Both genders are equally and fully created in the image of God. Neither gender holds a monopoly on reflecting the divine character.

Genesis 1:27 also makes it abundantly clear that God created male and female, and they were established simultaneously and purposefully by Him. Evolution, on the other hand, explains biological s*x as an evolutionary adaptation that developed billions of years ago in simple organisms to increase genetic diversity, long before humans or mammals existed.

Genesis 1:27 places human value in the image of God. Human worth is absolute, sacred, and distinct from the rest of the animal kingdom. Evolution views humans as a highly evolved branch of the animal kingdom, specifically hominids. Human worth is not rooted in a biological family tree; rather, self-awareness and morality are seen as survival traits that evolved through social cooperation.

It is abundantly clear that creationism presents a more reasonable argument for the existence of all living things. God, through His divine power, created all things, and for His pleasure everything does exist.

Did you know God created male and female and they are based on evolutionary adaptation based on genetic diversity?

Tomorrow we will be looking at (ALL THINGS WERE CREATED) Part Seven

Hallelujah! Praise God! Thank You, Jesus!

*Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for creating male and female in your own image. Amen!*

Brethren, Psalms 8:1 NKJV
[1] O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!

Topic: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED.
Part Five

Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:21 NKJV
[21] So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Creation and the population of the sea and the sky happened when God spoke them into existence. He created all living creatures according to their kinds, which indicates that species were established with their own distinct characteristics and reproductive boundaries.

In a modern context, creation scientists use the term "kind" to establish the concept of baraminology—the study of created kinds. This position argues that while vast genetic variation can occur within a kind (for example, the canine kind, including wolves, foxes, and domestic dogs), God set genetic boundaries that prevent one fundamental kind from transitioning into another.

Genesis 1:21 makes it abundantly clear that each creature has a fixed biological boundary. Evolutionists argue that every species shares a common ancestor and changes across boundaries through gradual genetic mutations. Scripture makes it clear that birds and marine life were created on Day 5, before land animals and reptiles on Day 6. Evolutionists, however, argue that reptiles evolved first and that birds evolved much later from a specific lineage of theropod dinosaurs.

The argument creationists bring forward is that life appeared suddenly and fully formed through divine fiat—God said, "Let it be," and it was so. Evolutionists argue that life diversified over billions of years through natural selection and genetic drift. While evolutionists present their theory, Scripture clearly teaches that all living things were created according to their own kinds. Based on scientific studies, creationists maintain that no living creature can reproduce outside of its genetic boundaries.

Did you know marine life and birds were created before reptiles and other land creatures contrary to what evolutionists believe?

Tomorrow we will be looking at (ALL THINGS WERE CREATED) Part Six

Brethren, Psalms 54:1 NKJV

Part Four

Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:14 NKJV
[14] Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

The creation of the sun, moon, and stars helped establish a concrete framework for time. Time is determined by the rotation of the earth on its axis. The earth takes 24 hours to rotate, giving us day and night. The moon is the object seen in the sky at night, while the sun is seen during the day. This in itself shows that God created these objects to distinguish time.

Early people worshipped these heavenly bodies, but God revealed that they were not deities controlling human destiny. Rather, they were objects created by God. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, and Canaanites were among the early worshippers of these celestial bodies.

The moon is an object that indicates it is night. Whenever we see the moon—whether it is a full moon, last quarter moon, waning gibbous, or waxing gibbous—we know it is nighttime. The moon's changing phases also serve as a God-given indicator of monthly cycles, helping mankind identify the beginning and end of each month. In contrast, the sun illuminates the day. These heavenly bodies also serve as signs for seasons and act as indicators for sacred times, agricultural cycles, and annual festivals. Based on these signs, people knew when it was time to harvest crops and when to celebrate various religious festivals, as instructed in Leviticus 23. They also served as signs for appointed times.

Furthermore, every tree that was created was created with fruit containing the ability to produce more of its kind. When a seed touches the soil, germination occurs. The soil is always ready to germinate the seed according to God's design. Even today, when a mango seed is planted in the soil under suitable conditions, we can be confident that it will germinate and grow. This demonstrates that creation was designed with the ability to reproduce within itself and was not the result of spontaneous generation. God created living things with the capacity to reproduce according to their kinds.

Did you know the moon and stars are indicators for time and seasons?

Brethren, Psalms 29:3 NKJV
[3] The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.

Topic: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED.
Part Three

Scripture Reading: Job 26:7 NKJV
[7] He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.

The Egyptians believed the earth was a flat platter resting on the god Geb and surrounded by water. The Mesopotamians pictured the earth floating like a raft on a massive subterranean ocean. The Greeks later imagined Atlas physically holding the sky or the earth on his shoulders. Ancient civilizations believed that the earth had to be physically supported by something massive to keep it from falling into the chaotic abyss.

However, Job, while debating with his friends, declared a shocking truth: that God "hangs the earth on nothing" (Job 26:7). This demonstrates the awesome power of God. Job also spoke of how God binds up the waters in thick clouds, a statement that aligns with what scientists later discovered about the water cycle. Clouds are formed through condensation, and they are not immediately broken open to release rain. As water v***r condenses, clouds are able to hold vast amounts of water, and rain falls only when conditions are right.

The prophet Isaiah, in Isaiah 40:22, spoke of God sitting above the "circle" of the earth. Many Christians see this as consistent with the earth's spherical shape. This passage highlights the Bible's remarkable accuracy regarding the earth's position and form at a time when many believed the earth was flat or physically supported by something beneath it.
These truths reveal the awesome nature and power of God. The fact that the earth hangs upon nothing points to His wisdom and sovereignty over creation. It reminds us that creation was not spontaneous but was the work of an all-powerful Creator. No matter how many theories are proposed, they ultimately fall short of fully explaining the magnificent power and majesty of God.

Did you know Job knew God hanged the earth upon nothing thousands of years before scientists confirmed?

Hallelujah! Praise God! Thank You, Jesus!

Brethren, Psalms 48:1 NKJV

Part Two

Scripture Reading: Colossians 1:16 NKJV
[16] For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

When God created everything, He did not have to return and create more. He created enough oxygen for all humanity, enough trees to produce that oxygen, and enough oceans to help sustain life. No matter what the population of the earth becomes, there is always sufficiency in God's provision. God anticipated our needs before we were even here and supplied them.

The same principle applies when we examine the language used in the Bible. Many words have changed in meaning over time, and understanding how people used those words in the past helps us interpret Scripture accurately. One example is the word "dragon."

Older dictionaries used the word "dragon" to describe living reptiles. For centuries, "dragon" was a broad term or poetic word used to describe large snakes, pythons, or foreign lizards such as the Komodo dragon. Therefore, when we see the word "dragon" in the Bible, it is not necessarily referring to a mythical creature but to a living creature known at that time.

When atheists and agnostics claim that the Bible contains fictional animals, they often point to the unicorn. Today, dictionaries commonly describe a unicorn as a mythical creature. However, centuries ago, "unicorn" was used as a literal descriptive name for a one-horned rhinoceros. Over the past 150 to 200 years, dictionary definitions shifted, replacing the older usage with the modern association of unicorns as creatures of European folklore and fantasy.

We must remember the culture and language of biblical times. Because of the terminology used in those days, some animal names found in the Bible may sound strange to modern readers. However, when we examine these terms through the lens of ancient usage rather than modern dictionary definitions, we find that creatures referred to as dragons and unicorns can correspond to animals that are still alive today, though known by different names.

This demonstrates the importance of understanding biblical language within its historical context. It also shows that the Bible is not a book of made-up stories, but a book that contains living truths.

Did you know the Bible is not a book of made-up stories, but a book that contains living truths?

Tomorrow we will be looking at (ALL THINGS WERE CREATED) Part Three.

Brethren, Psalms 45:1 NKJV
[1] My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Topic: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED.

Scripture Reading: John 1:3 NKJV
[3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

There has always been strong disagreement about the Earth and how long it has existed. There are those who believe in old-earth creationism and accept scientific data regarding the Earth's age of approximately 4.5 billion years. There are also young-earth creationists who interpret Genesis literally and assert that the universe is between 6,000 and 10,000 years old.

When looking at Scripture, one must understand that Genesis chapters 1 and 2, which speak about creation, were not written metaphorically but literally. Understanding this means that the creation of the cosmos, the Earth, life, and humanity occurred within a seven-day period.

The common alternative to creationism is evolution, which is based on the belief that all living things came from a common ancestor and evolved over time. While creationists believe that everything came into existence when God spoke it into being, many evolutionists believe that the universe originated from the Big Bang.

A counterargument often presented is that there could have been a Big Bang, but that it occurred when God said, "Let there be light." While evolutionary theory attempts to explain how life changes over time, it does not explain how life originally began. The transition from non-living chemicals to a self-replicating, information-rich cell remains one of the greatest mysteries in science.

Evolution is believed to operate through genetic mutations. Many mutations are neutral or harmful, often resulting in a loss of genetic information. Some researchers question whether random mutations alone can generate entirely new and highly complex instructions required for life.

Genesis 1 makes it abundantly clear that God created all things by His spoken word. Nothing evolved into existence. If things were continually evolving into different kinds, it is argued that we should still observe such transformations today. Instead, God created every living thing according to its own kind. Living organisms were created with the ability to reproduce, bearing seed and fruit within themselves. This biological design enables them to continue reproducing and propagating according to their kind, which is why we still see them today.

Did you know the big bang what many speak about is when God said let there be light?

Brethren, Psalms 8:1 NKJV

Topic: THE GATE OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL.
Part Five

Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:19 NKJV
[19] And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus told Peter that whatever he binds on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever he looses on earth will be loosed in heaven. This has been the subject of many misinterpretations and misunderstandings, as many believe they can simply bind and loose anything. To understand what Jesus was saying, we must look at the context. Jesus was not telling Peter that whatever he binds or looses on earth controls heaven; rather, Peter was carrying out on earth what God had already decreed in heaven.

The phrase itself implies that a person’s declarations on earth must align with what God has already determined in heaven. This is contrary to what many believe, but it is according to Scripture. Therefore, when intercessors use the terminology of binding and loosing, it is not to create something new or dramatic, but it must be in accordance with what God has already spoken and what is empowered and directed through the Holy Spirit.

A general overview of what was discussed over the past few days is that the gate of hell is not a literal gate, but rather the schemes, tactics, and counsel of Satan against the church. The church is not on the defensive, but on the offensive, because God empowers the church through His authority. The church fights against the gate of hell, and the gate of hell cannot withstand the attack. As believers, we must allow Scripture to come alive within us and not read our own meanings into it. By doing this, we will better understand the reasoning behind what was said.

Did you know that Peter was carrying out what God had already decreed in heaven?

Brethren, Psalms 50:1 NKJV
[1] The Mighty One, God the Lord, Has spoken and called the earth From the rising of the sun to its going down.

Topic: THE GATE OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL.
Part Three

Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:19 NKJV
[19] And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

In the ancient Near East, the king appointed a chief steward to manage the palace while the king was away. The steward wore a literal key on his shoulder as a symbol of his authority to grant or deny access to the king’s presence. Jesus is the King, and He appointed Peter as His chief steward to help govern the earthly kingdom, the Church, during His absence.

The phrase “shall be bound in heaven” uses a rare Greek grammatical structure called the periphrastic future perfect passive. The literal meaning is “will have already been bound” or “having been bound.” This means Peter and the apostles did not dictate rules to God. Instead, they received divine revelation from heaven and declared it on earth. Their decisions mirrored heaven; heaven did not follow their decisions.

In first-century Judaism, “binding” and “loosing” were common legal terms used by rabbis. “Binding” declared a behavior forbidden under the Mosaic Law, while “loosing” declared a behavior permitted. The early Church put this into practice in Acts 15 at the Council of Jerusalem. The apostles had to decide whether Gentile converts were required to follow Jewish dietary laws and circumcision. They loosed the Gentiles from these requirements, defining Church doctrine under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Giving Peter the keys meant giving him the authority to open the doors of the kingdom of heaven to new believers, acting as a trusted steward of Christ’s household. Peter’s early decisions were not meant to change God’s mind, but rather to faithfully execute and proclaim God’s heavenly plans.

Did you know Peter receiving the keys to the Kingdom gave him the responsibility to open the Kingdom of heaven to new believers?

Brethren, Psalms 20:1 NKJV
[1] May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;

Topic: THE GATE OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL.
Part Two

Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:18 NKJV
[18] And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

The gate of hell is not a literal gate, but rather a metaphor for the schemes, strategies, and counsel of the enemy. While modern readers may hear the word “gate” and think of physical barriers or doors, the word carried a radically different political and military meaning in ancient times. City gates were not merely security checkpoints; they were the civil, political, and judicial centers of the city.

Kings, elders, and judges sat at the city gates to hold court, make legal decisions, and govern. Military generals also gathered there to devise strategies, draw battle plans, and organize campaigns. This historical and cultural context explains that a gate represented far more than what we commonly imagine today.

Therefore, when the Lord Jesus emphatically declared that “the gate of hell shall not prevail against the church,” He was not speaking about demons attacking the church with spears and javelins. Rather, He was referring to the schemes, strategies, and counsel of the enemy.

The subtlety of the devil cannot be underestimated, for he has been around longer than all of us, yet his strategies remain the same. However, the church has been equipped with the Word of God to overcome the schemes, strategies, and counsel of the enemy. We are not ignorant of the devices of the wicked, and because of this, the church is no longer merely on the defensive, but has become an advancing force.

The church storms the strongholds of evil, sin, and death, and the gate of hell cannot withstand its assault. It is a guarantee of absolute and final victory.

Did you know the church storms the stronghold of evil, sin and death, and the gate of hell cannot withstand its assault?
