Caribbean International Distributors Inc. (CIDI) is seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter / Sales Assistant to join our Sales & Distribution team in Georgetown, Guyana.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To: Sales & Commercial Manager

Key Responsibilities
-Assist sales representatives with picking, preparing and processing customer orders.
-Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
-Pack, arrange and organize products for delivery.
-Accompany drivers on delivery routes and assist with timely and accurate deliveries.
-Verify delivered goods and obtain proof of delivery where required.
-Provide basic customer service during deliveries.
-Communicate stock availability to the sales team.
-Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
-Maintain a clean, organized and orderly truck.

Requirements
-High school certificate preferred but not mandatory.
-Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, porter or general labour is an advantage.
-Must be physically capable of lifting and handling products.
-Good communication, teamwork, basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Knowledge of retail/workplace safety practices.
-Ability to operate pallet jacks or trolleys is an asset; training can be provided.
-Valid driver's licence where required.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To: Sales & Commercial Manager

Key Responsibilities
-Promote and sell CIDI products while achieving assigned sales targets.
-Visit existing and potential customers along assigned routes and identify new sales opportunities.
-Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
-Deliver products safely, accurately and on time.
-Verify and account for all stock loaded, sold, delivered, returned or damaged.
-Collect and safeguard customer payments and accurately complete sales, delivery and cash documentation.
-Operate and maintain the company vehicle safely, including conducting daily vehicle checks.
-Complete assigned routes and submit daily sales and route reports.
-Report customer feedback, competitor activity and market opportunities to management.
-Follow all company safety policies, procedures and standards.

Requirements
-Valid driver’s licence with Motor Lorry class and a clean driving record.
-Previous experience in sales, distribution or route sales is preferred.
-Strong sales, communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
-Good knowledge of local routes is an asset.
-Ability to handle cash and sales documentation accurately.
-Ability to work independently, manage routes effectively and safely handle products.

Employment Type:Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To:Chief Security Officer / Security Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor and control access of employees, visitors and vehicles.
* Conduct regular patrols and protect company property, inventory and equipment.
* Monitor loading/unloading activities and inspect vehicles entering or leaving the premises.
* Maintain security logs, visitor records and incident reports.
* Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activities or security breaches.
* Ensure gates, doors and restricted areas remain properly secured.
* Respond appropriately to emergencies and assist with maintaining safety and order.

Requirements

* Previous security experience preferred; warehouse/distribution experience is an asset.
* Knowledge of basic security and safety procedures.
* Strong observation, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Dependable, alert and able to remain calm in emergency situations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, when required.
* Security training/certification is an asset.
