Behind every child is a father, father figure, or role model making a difference in their life.
This Father’s Day, we asked our students what their dads do and what they would like to wish them. Their heartfelt answers remind us of the love, guidance, and support fathers provide every day.
Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers and father figures!

St. Stanislaus College was thrilled to welcome back one of our very own distinguished alumnus, Mr. Shammah Noel, a graduate in Civil Engineering and a successful entrepreneur.
Mr. Noel is the proprietor of A APizzaLL, a local pizza business that has earned the support of many delighted customers. As a demonstration of his appreciation and generosity for the Saints family, he treated the fathers on the staff to lunch by donating 11 large pizzas.
Mr. Noel’s kind gesture was warmly received by the staff and serves as a reminder of the strong bond between our alumni and the College community. On behalf of the Board, Committee members, and staff, we express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Mr. Noel for his kindness and support.

The St. Stanislaus College Grade 10 Geography students recently participated in an educational field trip to the Essequibo Coast, fulfilling a component of their School-Based Assessment. During this excursion, they visited Lake Capoey, Anna Regina, and Lake Mainstay. The students meticulously observed the tourism facilities and infrastructure present at each site.
Furthermore, they conducted a comparative analysis of the tourism characteristics of Lake Capoey, Anna Regina, and Lake Mainstay to gain a comprehensive understanding of each destination's contribution to tourism within Region Two. They had the privilege of meeting a former Toshao, who provided invaluable insights into the history and development of Capoey. In Anna Regina, the students visited Damon’s Monument, where they gained knowledge regarding his life and his enduring influence on Guyanese history.
This experience provided the students with significant lessons concerning the region’s geography, history, and culture.
