The recent allocation of only 26.5% from the government's 2023 carbon credit revenues demonstrates a clear disregard for the needs and development of Amerindian communities. This insufficient allocation restricts the capacity of these communities to undertake essential capital and non-capital socioeconomic projects that are crucial for their growth and sustainability.
It is imperative that more funds be released to truly support the advancement of Amerindian communities. The government must recognize the importance of empowering these communities with the resources they need to thrive, rather than controlling and limiting their access to development funds. We call for a fairer distribution of resources that genuinely reflects the value and contributions of Amerindian peoples to our nation’s environmental and cultural heritage.

The cybersecurity law, as is, is a threat to democracy - Stabroek News Dear Editor, As concerned citizens, it is our duty to speak out against any legislation that threatens the fundamental rights and freedoms we hold dear.
We must continue to celebrate the rich heritage and vibrant cultures of our Indigenous Peoples, it's crucial that we recognize their right to manage their own affairs without political pressures and influence. For true progress, Indigenous communities must have the autonomy to shape their futures in education, STEM, environmental stewardship, and beyond.
The Movement is committed to engaging Indigenous leaders throughout our beautiful countries, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Together, we will work to shape inclusive policies that honor their traditions and aspirations, fostering growth and development in all sectors of our society.
We must continue supporting the independence and self-determination of our Indigenous Peoples.
We are happy to share our Movement's Theme song done by Zoe Gilbert.
Our Movement is a place where your views are heard, where your voice is not ignored and where peace, love, unity and democracy strive.
Let's come together now!
