HR Tip of the day: What to include under educational background on your CV.

If you have certifications:
- School/institution name
- Degree or certification obtained and from where.
- Dates attended or graduation date.
- Field of study (major and minors). Specifyinoressive GPAs.
- Honors, achievements, relevant coursework, extracurricular activities related to studies or job requirements. Any study abroad programs.

Don’t have any certification? Then be sure to….
- include any schools attended, Licenses obtained etc.
- Think about job-related training, certifications, conferences, in-service training, seminars, online learning and even self-directed study. E.g obtained Food handlers certificate. Attended a workshop on safety in the workplace. Etc.

*it is better to start with the most recent and work your way down. It’s not always about having a lot of qualifications, as it is about having the right attitude. If you are shortlisted, be sure to ask our HR team about training incentives and follow their tips for a successful interview!
