New Creative Canvas Sessions now open for enrollment! Do you have a creative middle or high schooler that would benefit from having a safe space to create freely outside of the usual school-style curriculum?

Creative Canvas weekly sessions include all acrylic painting and drawing supplies plus a Creative Indeed tote bag. Guidance is provided by local artist Michelle Pier in her art studio, offering basic painting techniques and encouragement to explore their own unique styles.

Students will create a new painting of their choice each class, sometimes with a theme or specific creative challenge designed to build confidence, skills, and a strong portfolio along the way.

Creative Canvas Art Program - Creative Indeed For Middle School Students on Guam – Spring 2026 Creative Canvas Art Program

Hafa adai! YOU are invited to the 2025 Creative Indeed Art Exhibit this Friday, from 6-10pm at Dusit Place in Tumon (right next to IHOP). Hosted by Michelle Pier, the owner of Creative Indeed art studio, the event is free to the public and features over 100 artists of all ages and stages of art experience. With an Open Call for submissions, you will find a diverse array of about 330 artworks such as paintings, digital art, photography, and 3D art. We had over 400 submissions to go through and select, as there is no shortage of talent and art on Guam! The open call was also extended to middle and high school students, to encourage our youth artists to participate in the local exhibit scene.

The exhibit is an extension of the Creative Canvas Camp for middle schoolers, a program by Creative Indeed, funded by the Community Care Grant Program distributed by GEDA.

On this opening night you can expect live music by Just Friends, featuring Matt Sablan and co., Shawnzy B emceeing for us, and complimentary wine will be served, featuring France Wines Etc.

The exhibit will be open all the way through the holidays, open from 12pm-9pm daily from December 6th, and Closing Night event will be on January 6th.

Sundays will feature live art and artist popups, coinciding with the Tumon Night Market activities. It's going to be a great time and a amazing opportunity for participating artists. No fees are being charged to artists for displaying their work, as the goal with this event and program is accessibility to art, regardless of financial capability. Emerging musicians are welcome to come busk with us on the sidewalk on Sundays as well.

🎨My name is Michelle Pier, artist and owner of the newly opened Creative Indeed Art Studio at Acanta Mall in Tumon. I am proud to announce that the Creative Canvas art program for middle schoolers begins SEPTEMBER 1st, with 40 spots available, and going quick.

🎨Only 10 students per class, to ensure one-on-one guidance and attention.

🎨Students will learn the ins and outs of life as a professional artist, including:

✅how to build a portfolio
