A. The deadline for filing and paying Guam income taxes (individual, corporate, and other business entity returns) has been extended from April 15, 2026 to May 15, 2026.

B. The deadline to pay Guam territorial income tax, including any balance due with returns, is also extended to May 15, 2026.

Guam DRT shall not impose failure-to-file or payment penalties, provided that returns are filed and payments are made on or before May 15, 2026.

The Department of Revenue and Taxation is rolling out relief measures following recent system issues, offering waivers and deadline extensions for businesses and residents.

Business licenses that expired in March can now be renewed without penalties until May 1. After that, a $1 per day late fee will apply.

For business privilege taxes, the deadline to file and pay February 2026 returns is now April 20, with penalties waived until then.

DRT is also waiving late fees for driver’s licenses that expired between March 23 and April 2. There are no late fees for expired Guam ID’s.

Officials say additional processing time may be needed for ID’s and licenses, and more updates on other affected services are expected.
