To recognize founding owner Carol Ragan, she was honored with a special legislative resolution to pay tribute to the decades she gave to coffee culture on Guam. Despite moves, typhoons, economic shifts, Carol kept Hava Java anchored in the heart of Hagatna and serving the people of Guam. Thank you Carol for creating unforgettable moments at Hava Java!

Hava Java 671 Special Announcement 📣 - announcing new management - Richard & Jenneth Quiambao. Story below.

In 2000, Richard and Jenneth had their first date at Hava Java Café in Hagatna. Fast forward 25 years - marriage, kids and grandkids later, the café still had a sentimental place in their hearts. When founding owner Carol shared with them about her desire to retire and close the café, something sparked and tugged on the Quiambao’s hearts to want to continue the legacy of Hava Java. Richard and Jenneth saw an opportunity for mentoring the next generation of young people to keep the wonderful craft of coffee brewing and the famous homemade sandwiches alive, the Hava Java way. They desire to honor the traditions Carol started and create space for new memories at Hava Java 671.
