Congratulations to our Lady Manta Rays for proudly representing our school at the 17th Sugar and Spice Middle Schools Girls Festival, held at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.

With over 300 players and coaches from 16 middle schools across Guam, simply earning the opportunity to compete at this level is a major accomplishment. Our student-athletes demonstrated teamwork, discipline, and resilience—values that extend far beyond the pitch.

Events like the Sugar and Spice Girls Festival play a vital role in promoting girls’ sports, youth athletics, and student development in Guam, while empowering young athletes to build confidence, leadership, and school pride through competition.

🎳 STRIKE FOR THE GOLD WITH MANTA RAY ATHLETICS! 🎳

The SIFA Manta Ray Bowling Team is back and aiming higher than ever. After an impressive 2nd place finish last season, our student-athletes are making another run for Gold—and they need your support.

Join us for a No-Tap Bowling Fundraiser Tournament, where fun, school spirit, and community come together for a great cause. Proceeds will directly support the team by helping offset lane fees for daily practices and games, ensuring our bowlers have the resources they need to compete at their best.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
• No-Tap Tournament (9 pins or more = a strike)
• $30 entry fee for 3 games
• Top 3 bowlers advance to match play for Grand Champion
• Winner takes 10% of total funds collected (after lane fees)
• Lane fees: $12 per bowler
• Bowling shoes and balls included
• Event starts at 10:00 a.m.

This inclusive event is open to families, staff, students, and community members—a perfect way to show your Manta Ray pride while having fun on the lanes.

SIFA Manta Rays Cross Country

For 11 weeks, this space served as the foundation of our training, growth, and teamwork. We pushed our limits, supported one another, and built memories that will stay with us. In appreciation, we leave the area better than we found it.

As summer days come to a near end, we are pleased to announce that sign-ups have begun and are now open for the 1st quarter of SIFA Learning Academy Charter School's participation in the IIAAG Middle School League. Our first quarter sports to start off our school year 2025-2026 are GIRLS BASKETBALL and BOYS SOCCER.

Students interested in participating, please have your parents contact the Main Office at (671) 734 - 7432 and reply to this email to express your interest or if you have any questions or concerns. Our coaches will be reaching out to all interested parties within the next few weeks with details regarding practice venues and schedules.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another great school year in sports as well as academics for SIFA ahead!

Congrats to our SIFA Manta Rays Boys Team—Elijah Santos, Justin Bersamin, Roen Abaya, and John Tumamak—for a strong 2nd place finish in Week 2 of the IIAAG Middle School Bowling League! 🥈

Special props for clinching the win in Game 5 against tough competition!

Shoutout to our fierce Girls Team—Tasilyn Reyes, Aubreale Charfauros, Althea Arregaldo, and Nia de Asis—who battled down to the wire, finishing just 2 pins behind 1st place!

Proud of our Manta Rays for showing heart, hustle, and team spirit! 💙 Let’s bring that same energy into next week’s singles competition!
