I remember being a really young child and eating the meaty part of a cocoa bean at my great grandmothers command. She would then roast a few together with fresh coffee beans and and grind them right away for our weekly supply. But that’s not where my love for coffee started. You know how most toddlers drink milk out of a bottle, well, I remember mine being filled with coffee.
In 2016 we moved back to the mission field to find out that my favorite coffee roasting house had been closed for a couple of years. (While living in the US for 6 years, due to the influence of my best friends that included Dominican, Italian and Cuban, my wife had been turned into an espresso drinker like myself). It took us nearly one year to find the best coffee and the perfect roast in consistency. When we found it, we had to share it with everyone that we could. That is how this brand was born.
