Title: Siren
A creature emerging from the depths of the ocean. Fierce and lyrical, she observes the stars and the celestial bodies,. Every sunset the sirens swim to the surface, allowing the rays of the setting sun to warm their immortal souls.
Then they dive back to the nostalgia of the sea.

the naked summers sea shell, re-imagined as a crab holding the moon. The crab and its dual nature between land & sea, has long been a symbol of the ability to exist between the natural & spiritual world 🦀♋️

In my universe everything starts with some color on the paper. A feeling that takes space in the tangible world, my perception of the relationship between romance & nature 🌊🩵🐚

DOLPHINS & SHELL 64 X 54CM
Guardians of the sea, they carry with them positive omens, whispering the arrival of summer. Guided by the light of the sun and the constellations above, they lead sailors safely back to shore.
In this artwork, they emerge upon the emblematic, naked summers shell. Symbols of protection, harmony freedom, and the eternal romance between sea and sky.

The fierce Medusa with her snake hair adorned with the emblematic naked summers shell on the forehead, and the oceanic flower on the rim, painted in vivid colours. In my interpretation, Medusa was never turned into a monster as a punishment. It was an act of sacred protection. The ability to turn her enemies into stone was not a curse but a gift. Her fierce appearance guarding her pure soul. A divine transformation & rebirth.
