The partners of the MSCA project focused on using UAV (drone) technology for smart decision-making in viticulture, from optimizing regular operations to emergency response.

This week, the SosViti project team—partners from the Universidad de Granada, Industrial Systems Institute of Athena Research Center, Gaia Robotics, and Κτήμα Ορφανού - Orfanos Estate —gathered at the Orfanos Estate vineyards in Patras for a technical meeting under the Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchange program.

🌱 The team will conduct field measurements to assess soil erosion and composition, crucial for sustainable vineyard management. Additionally, drone-based remote sensing will be deployed to collect high-resolution data, helping monitor vine health and environmental impacts with precision.

This collaboration brings together cutting-edge research, robotics, and viticulture expertise to develop innovative solutions for soil preservation and climate-resilient farming.

Project Sustainable technical meeting at Κτήμα Ορφανού - Orfanos Estate participated by the Industrial Systems Institute, Gaia Robotics and Graniot on May 16, 2024

Gaia Robotics parrticipated on the Transfer of Knowledge meeting organized by The Industrial Systems Institute in the context of Project Sustainable on January 23, 2024. The meeting dealt with the modeling of agrifood processes and how it could be utilized in the context of the project. Hands on training with reference to Business Process Modeling Notation was offered increasing the capacities of the 25 participants either physically and remotely.

Για ακόμα μια χρονιά η Gaia Robotics IKE συμμετείχε στο 27ο Forum Ανάπτυξης (https://www.forumanaptixis.gr/) , που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 23-24 Νοεμβρίου 2024, στον μοναδικό χώρο του ξενοδοχείου MyWay στην Πάτρα. Η συμμετοχή μας στο Forum αποτέλεσε μια μοναδική ευκαιρία να μοιραστούμε το όραμά μας για ένα πιο έξυπνο και βιώσιμο μέλλον στον αγροτικό τομέα, αξιοποιώντας τεχνολογίες drones και αεροπορικών εφαρμογών για την ενίσχυση της γεωργίας ακριβείας και τη βελτιστοποίηση της παραγωγής, την εξοικονόμηση πόρων και την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος.

Η Gaia Robotics συμμετειχε στην 3η Συνάντηση Ενδιαφερομένων Μερών του έργου CEI Boost Interreg Europe που πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία στις 10 Ιουλίου 2024.

Gaia Robotics participated in Project Sustainable mid term meeting on November 9-10, 2022. The meeting provided a good opportunity to review the current state of the project and schedule future activities and pilot experimentations driving towards Agriculture 4.0 paradigm through innovative technologies.
