We Take Play Seriously 😊
The revamped Village Foyer occupies 700 sqm of Village Cinemas at The Mall Athens. Conceived as an "electric avenue", it operates as a spatial sequence that gradually pulls visitors toward the world of the big screen. Light is treated as infrastructure. Linear LEDs define direction, reinforce depth, and regulate flow. Metallic surfaces and high-reflectance textures capture and redistribute neon tones, turning illumination into a spatial device rather than an effect. Behind the atmosphere lies a carefully calibrated performance framework, where materials are not chosen for effect but for endurance, regulatory compliance, and resilience under continuous use. The result is an environment capable of sustaining the intensity of engineered entertainment.

Delta, La Liste 2026 and the Story Behind the Build
The recent distinction of Delta, named “Best Restaurant in Greece” in La Liste 2026, creates an important moment not only for Greek gastronomy but also for the broader ecosystem that made this project possible.
Designed by KOIS Associated Architects within the architecture of Renzo Piano / RPBW, and led by chefs George Papazacharias & Thanos Fessas, the project called for exacting construction: bespoke infrastructures, a suspended handcrafted timber ceiling, integrated acoustic and lighting performance, and fully concealed technical systems.
A build where precise engineering and craftsmanship support a bold creative vision , allowing the restaurant to operate culturally, and gastronomically at the highest international level.
