Team Programize joined historian Menelaos Charalambidis of Athens History Walks for the second time, exploring the streets and stories of Athens during World War II.

Last Friday, we hosted a Mobile App Security Essentials session 🔐📱 led by Spiropoulos, focusing on how to build secure mobile applications from the ground up.

The session brought together Programizers from the office and remote teams for a hands-on discussion about best practices, common pitfalls, and ways to integrate security thinking into everyday development, drawing inspiration from OWASP principles and real-world secure coding practices.

Afterwards, we continued the conversation over a nice lunch at the office the Programize way: the perfect way to wrap up a great session and connect in person.

Knowledge sharing sessions like this are part of how we keep raising the bar. Helping every Programizer grow, learn, and build software that’s not just powerful, but secure by design.

Last week, we gathered for our All Hands - Vasilopita party, mixing celebration and good vibes.

We started with a look back at 2024, celebrating our wins, learning from challenges, and setting new goals for even bigger things this year. Then, it was time for our traditional vasilopita, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of laughs and games!

Congrats to the lucky coin winners, and a big shoutout to our colleagues who marked 5 fantastic years with Programize. We loved sharing these special moments and gifting a little extra joy! 🎁

What's your Oxygen?

A few days ago, we had our first outing of the year. We attended the play “Oxygen”, written by Ivan Vyrypaev and directed by George Koutlis, at the Stegi Onassis. The play explores significant ethical dilemmas of our time and captures the struggles of a generation in search of answers. It was a distinctive, modern, and vibrant performance that left a lasting impression and sparked stimulating discussions afterwards.
