Why racism is stupid and hurtful.

It creates false perception and relation-connection filters.

There's subtle discrimination, such as discrimination northern Europeans have towards southern Europeans, and then there's the added corrupted element of racial discrimination.

Suddenly, a person you encounter is no longer another European, a Being, a citizen, or a person from Africa or southest Asia but a "southerner", a "filthy Greek", a "Südländer", a "black", a "yellow".

Not only is this profoundly absurd but it also lowers our perception and our empathic skills to discrimination and bias, thus limiting us by definition.

Though criticism towards cultural norms, tendencies and mentality is totally healthy and even necessary, and I am personally not the greatest fan of Greeks, racism hurts and racism perpetuates trauma and narratives of conflict.
