🌊 Startup Greece was proud to participate in the Mediterranean Blue Economy Conference 2026 in 📌Cartagena, Spain, as part of the MED-Hubs initiative.
Representing Startup Greece, , Head of Growth and Manolis Michalis Kontaxakis, Culture Manager, joined the panel on connecting Mediterranean innovation ecosystems for blue growth, discussing stronger collaboration between startups, research, industry, policymakers and investors.
The event reinforced our commitment to connecting the Greek startup ecosystem with international opportunities and supporting a more sustainable and innovative Mediterranean blue economy.

Startup Greece continues building bridges across Europe and the Mediterranean.

From 16 to 18 June 2026, we will participate in the 2nd UfM Study Visit on International Trade and Investment Policy in Geneva, Switzerland, joining discussions on trade, investment and regional cooperation.

On 19 June 2026, we will also take part in the Kick-off Meeting of the “Social Entrepreneurship for Youth and Community-Based Security Solutions” project in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Two important moments to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships and support entrepreneurship, youth empowerment and international collaboration.

Innovation is not only about technology — it is about connecting knowledge, people, and capital. 🚀

Startup Greece was pleased to participate in the 1st Swiss–Greek Innovation Board, co-organized by the Embassy of Switzerland in Greece and NCSR “Demokritos”.

Our Managing Director, Thanos Paraschos, represented Startup Greece in a strategic exchange between Greece and Switzerland, bringing together leaders from research, industry, investment, and public policy.

🇨🇭 By connecting Switzerland’s expertise in commercializing science with Greece’s talent, research capacity, and entrepreneurial potential, we can create new opportunities for founders, investors, and institutions.
