Από τις 10 έως τις 18 Σεπτεμβρίου 2022, σας περιμένουμε, για να ανακαλύψουμε μαζί τα καινοτόμα προϊόντα και τις υπηρεσίες της ZeniΘ, αλλά και για να λάβετε μέρος στον κορυφαίο διαγωνισμό Home Sweet Home, διεκδικώντας ένα ολοκαίνουργιο ενεργειακό σπίτι.

We are currently looking for a passionate, self-driven, talented and experienced WordPress Developer, to join our development team and contribute to our evolvement by participating in award-winning projects.

As a WordPress Developer at OTO DEV, you will be working as part of our development department, closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain next generation websites, e-shops and web apps. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).

Candidates are expected to display coding expertise, superior technical and communication skills and a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is a must.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and guiding a website’s architecture
• Manage front-end and back-end development
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Generate plug-ins, modules and themes
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme
• Participate in team and client meetings
• Conduct WordPress client training

Must Have

• 3+ years of relevant working experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience of WordPress (theme support & custom widgets)
• Experience working with WordPress at PHP code level:
o Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
o Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with WordPress coding standards
o Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re­usable code
o Theme/template integration
• Experience in creating e-commerce web sites with WooCommerce
• Excellent knowledge in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• Experience working with JavaScript, and any responsive web design framework
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Chrome inspector
• Proficient understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the applications will adhere to them
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Comfortable working with Git code versioning tool

Great to Have

• BSc and/or MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related
• Knowledge of image authoring tools such as Photoshop, to be able to crop, resize, or perform adjustments on an image.
• Experience in MySQL
• Experience in Laravel / Symfony
• Experience in Vue.js
• Experience in Web Services & RESTful APIs
• PageSpeed optimization practices
