Anthologist
Cross-cultural brand shaping retail, hospitality, objects & fashion with craft + spirit. Led by Andria Mitsakos. This is culture, lived.
Anthologist is a cross-cultural brand rooted in retail, hospitality, and design. Championing cultural preservation as a living practice, it creates objects, sculpts fashion, imagines spaces, and tells stories that bridge tradition and the contemporary. Inspired by memory and lived experience, and through global collaborations, Anthologist shapes environments and collections that carry profound meaning and soulful presence. Furniture becomes sculpture, retail becomes ritual, design becomes story.
Our ceramics are hand-painted in red clay in an Athens workshop alongside an artisan from a long line of Crete craftsmen, each piece commissioned by our founder as a meditation on geometry, symmetry, and the merging of two worlds. New to the collection, our water jugs work as well for water or juices as they do filled with fresh flowers on your tablescape โ poetic, simple and primitive in style, each piece hand-shaped and handcrafted.
Available in all Anthologist locations in the red dot, psari, and pagoni designs.

Born of fire, painted by hand, worn like a memory. ๐ฅ
Chimera Cloisonnรฉ Pendant on Handmade Link Chain:
A myth reborn in fire and enamel. This statement pendant features Anthologistโs trademarked Chimeraโpart lion, part goat, part serpentโcast in gold-plated brass and hand-painted in vibrant cloisonnรฉ enamel. Every scale and curve echoes the ancient art of mosaic and the golden shimmer of Byzantine iconographyโcraft traditions that have long shaped our visual language.
Suspended from a bold, handmade link chain, this version carries weightโboth literal and symbolic. A grounding piece, made for those who move through the world with presence, memory, and power.
A relic of transformation, forged in color, mythology, and intention.

Summer loading: Introducing Karolin Van Loon at Anthologist ๐ด
Beauty, reimagined from the inside out. Antwerp-based Karolin Van Loon came to cosmetics not through the beauty industry, but through interior architecture and a lifelong devotion to colour, mineral texture, and organic form. Her fine jewelry practice and her beauty line share the same source of inspiration: the crystalline depth of agate geodes. The result is a collection, vegan, cruelty-free, and made in Belgium, that carries genuine artistic intention in every shade.

All of our brass objects are hand-cast using ancient methods including sand molds. The last step of the production process is a hand-polishing to showcase each pieceโs inherent brilliance. Some imperfections are natural.

Some things are passed down through gesture โ a way of gathering flowers, setting the table, and choosing objects that make a house feel lived in and loved.
This month, weโre thinking of the mothers, grandmothers, chosen family, and women who shape the rituals we carry with us through beauty and everyday gestures. โจ
Seen here, the Anthologist Blown Glass Amphora. Art directed by our founder and created by one of Greeceโs last remaining glassblowing studios, each amphora is a tribute to the time-honored craft of glasswork. ๐

Born from wool, laughter, and a little bit of magic in the highlands of Chiapas, meet Leopoldo, the White Jaguar.
Pale as milk with midnight stitching, white jaguars are said to be omens of luck and guardians of dreams, appearing only to those who carry a story worth protecting. After a long journey across mountains and seas, Leopoldo followed the north wind all the way to Athens โ where mythology still breathes and handmade creatures find their kin.
He is now home in the Anthologist Ark, alongside chimeras, dragons, and dolphins.
๐ Add Leopoldo to your Anthologist Ark. Link in bio.
Thereโs a certain poetry to the table this time of yearโcolor, light, and a sense of renewal woven into every detail.
Ceramic candle holders, delicate bud vases, and hand-blown glass vessels come together in an effortless rhythm. Scattered glass eggs catch the lightโsmall, luminous objects that feel both playful and precious.
