Με μεγάλη χαρά και συγκίνηση σας ενημερώνω ότι η αγαπημένη μου Αργώ, παρότι έχει γεράσει λίγο (ως ντοκιμαντέρ) συνεχίζει να ταξιδεύει!!!
Αυτή την φορά πάει Παρίσι! Θα προβληθεί στην μεγάλη οθόνη του Grand Action cinema την επόμενη Κυριακή στο πλαίσιο των εκδηλώσεων Ecrans des Mondes.
Καλό ταξίδι λοιπόν να έχει για ακόμα μια φορά.

Dear Friends,

The Argonauts, in Greek mythology, are a group of heroes who left Iolcos, present-day Volos, aboard the ship Argo in search of the Golden Fleece of Colchis, in present-day Georgia. This myth serves as the backdrop to a documentary which recounts with patience, compassion and precision the adventure represented by the implementation of the very ambitious project of rebuilding the ship according to the old plans, as well as the re-oaring of the initial trip.

We follow the implementation of the project step by step, starting with the cutting of the trees intended to become the hull of the boat. We will witness the long construction work, its launching, and the first stages of the journey. As you might expect, nothing will go as planned, and the multiple difficulties encountered will mark what will become a veritable odyssey for the contemporary Argo adventurers. Even the end of the trip is not the one imagined by the organizers at the start. But too bad: the film is a faithful travel diary where each step presents us with a new problem, we face a new difficulty, a new challenge: we do not have time to be bored. Neither the 74 Argonauts !!

For us, spectators, the film is also an invitation to reflect on the implementation of our ideas. How do you know if an idea is feasible, or just out of place? With what realism is it useful to temper our ardor, or on the contrary, how can we go even further? How to react in relation to the unpredictable situations that life presents to us? In any case, through the adventures of these Argonauts, we will witness the birth of a beautiful solidarity. Between the inhabitants of the ports visited and between the 74 rowers of the Argo themselves. Despite the difficulties, most of them will be very proud to have taken part in what they describe as unforgettable experience.
