Mascista

The 3D animation project "Nine Lives Left" traveled to Bordeaux, France, to participate in the Cartoon Movie CARTOON pitching & co-production forum, in the "in development" category. This is a particularly significant distinction, as it is the first time in 25 years that a Greek project has been selected in this category.

The team, consisting of Zacharias Mavroeidis (creator), Maria Kontogianni (Producer, Wild At Heart), and the animation studio Mascista (Panos Xenakis - Animation Director and Simos Magliveras - Art Director), actively participated in the three-day forum, presenting the project to prospective investors and co-producers from the international animation industry.

The one-minute 3D pilot was screened for the first time, leaving a particularly positive impression to the audience. The presence at the forum was accompanied by important meetings with professionals from the world animation industry, opening up international prospects for this pioneering project: Nine Lives Left will be the first international 3D animation co-production of Greek initiative also aimed at children and their families.

We are really excited to share with you our latest collaboration with Leonardo Interactive and Invader Studios, the launch trailer for Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, an amazing horror / action-adventure game.
We were involved in various aspects of the creation of the trailer and game, mainly creating original animation and motion capture cleanups.
We loved every second working on the project as we are gamers ourselves and we can't wait to work on similar projects in the future.
