Watch out for traffic restrictions which begin this morning, as the streets of Athens fall silent, until the cheering and clapping begins, supporting the city's greatest annual sporting event; the Athens Authentic Marathon. The shorter races take place today, while tomorrow brings the longest event, the original route of the classic marathon.
