Chapter: The Outline

The raised leg describes the longest line the body can propose: hip to heel in a single arc, held by training so accumulated it has become reflex.

Against this, the heart necklace at the shoulder, the drop earring at the lobe.

In the pas de deux, the recognition between partners is almost a love affair. The form choosing to remain. The pink gold knows the body it has found. It stays.

When almost everything seems dark,
gold and a fragment of lip remain.

When a form is right, it can carry the entire image on its own.

Chapter: The Moving Form

The arabesque appears differently from every seat in the house.
From the fifth row, it reads as flight. From the wings, it is work.

The hair moves, the face inclines, the layered necklaces hold their stillness. Crosses in turquoise, rose, pink and white coloured notes.

What moves and what stays still define each other. The charm is the still point in the turning figure.

Chapter: Gravity

The pointe shoe is a negotiation with gravity the body agrees to lose. And in losing, produces something that looks like flight.

All the body's mass passes through the box of the shoe, through accumulated years of training that make this moment legible as beauty rather than force.

The pendants at the ankle travel with it. They are precise enough to be remembered.

Chapter: The Score I

The profile is the most revealing angle.

The drop earring reads as a section through movement: the curve the ear describes when the head turns, held in metal. The head bows. It’s the position of listening to something internal.
The heart necklace rests against the knee's curve like a musical clef at the beginning of the staff.
