Welcome to Bound in Art: Spring Edition!
The AthenSh***ri team is delighted to invite you to our festive AthenSh***ri Live Drawing!

In this special Christmas edition, the atmosphere will be filled with holiday magic. The ties and poses will include Christmas props, and the space will be decorated with Christmas themes to immerse us all in the festive spirit.

The event will take place at our regular venue: Mezonos 66, Metaxourgio, 2nd floor.

Practical Information:

What do I need to bring?
Drawing/painting materials.
Any drink or snack (coffee and tea will be provided).
Items for the giveaway bazaar (optional).
Useful Notes:

This is not a painting class. It is an artistic gathering for creation and practice.
Socializing is welcome but within a respectful framework.
Please respect those who are painting or posing, as well as the riggers and models, and do not disturb them during the creative process.

Retreat at North Evoia

Introduction to Yukimura-ryū (雪村流) for the first time in Greece. With (he/him) & (she/her) from Denmark.

STARTING at 11.00 am

Yukimura-ryū (雪村流) is a traditional school of Japanese rope bo***ge within Sh***ri, founded by Yukimura Haruki (幸村春樹).

It is considered one of the most influential and distinct lineages in modern ki***ku (緊縛), especially for its emotional and psychological focus rather than just visual aesthetics.
Yukimura-ryū is a deeply intimate, minimalist style of Japanese bo***ge that prioritizes emotional communication over visual complexity.

In this class we will explore AibuNawa (愛撫縄) which can be translated to “caressing rope”. It is a core concept/style within Yukimura-ryū.

NO TECHNICAL PREREQUSITIVES ARE REQIUIRED: HOWEVER You must have an awareness of your own and your partner’s limitations, boundaries and preferences. An ability to communicate safely and clearly is critical.

Description:
Dear Sh***ri friends,
We would like to inform you that our team will Introduce the art of Sh***ri through a Beginner’s Workshop, at the center of Athens.
This will include:
A ) Theoretical part
Sh***ri History, safety in ropes, different plays and approaches in ropes and basic sh***ri terminology.
B ) Practical part
Single and double Column tie, basic rope handling skills, rope tension skills, basic harnesses, ideas for play and improvisation with rope.

We will give some extra time at the end of the class for the consent workshop, which will deepen your understanding in communication, negotiation and consent matters. This part is mandatory for events that involve play.

Notes:
Due to the practical nature of the workshop the participants need to have two pieces of 8metres rope with them. We will have rope at the space to buy or to borrow!
If you come as a single participant you could negotiate and arrange to practice with other single participants, try self-tie or just watch.
