💥The time has come! DESMOS: A Dinner Study is coming out as a public group show on December the 7th at from 18:00 and until 11.01.25 🎉
🍝 After a series of 5 thematic dinners, with 28 different guests, artists and curators at , a long research in archival material, interviews and fruitful conversations over stained tablecloths, the project will conclude on a celebratory group show including artworks, valuable documents and performances. DESMOS: A Dinner Study is a project that focused on the empowerment of the artistic community, the valuable bonds we build among us and the precious time we can spend reflecting together, away from production stress, deadlines, openings and the art market. The show instigated from the historical events "Mondays of Desmos", that founders of Desmos Gallery held during the 1970s, inviting artists in casual pasta dinners at the exhibition space.

🍝 DESMOS: A Dinner Study Ep.:4 took place at and we are reaching the season finale of the project. Stay tuned for the upcoming public aspect of our collective work in the beginning of December 🥳
DESMOS: A Dinner Study is a collective research project in the form of a pasta dinner series, inspired by the “Mondays of DESMOS Gallery”, artist gatherings that were organized at the historical gallery that operated in Athens from the 1970' to 1990's, by its curator Epi Protonotariou and director Manos Pavlidis.
Within this context, and along with archival research in personal collections and ISET (Greek Contemporary Art Institute), A-DASH hosts curated creative encounters at Athens, inviting artists and other creatives to indulge into historical pioneering practices that shaped the Greek contemporary art community and reflect on the relations that bring us together within the current cultural, political and economic conjunction. We are interested in what art professionals bring to the table, both literally and metaphorically, in a personal condition of care and sharing, where antagonism, exposure and production stress are absent.
❤ *A-DASH thanks for her valuable collaboration, Greek Institute of Contemporary Art-ISET for the precious archival material.
💐 for providing inspired flower compositions
🍷 .gr for offering its high quality house wines
