Last evening, the Delphi Economic Forum inaugurated the “Apollo” Delphi Economic Forum International Award, a new annual distinction honoring international personalities whose leadership and vision have meaningfully advanced the European ideal as a project of peace, innovation, prosperity, democratic governance, and social cohesion.

The inaugural award ceremony took place at the iconic Acropolis Museum and honored Mr. Jean-Paul Agon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of L’Oréal, in recognition of his lifetime contribution to business leadership, innovation, and responsible global entrepreneurship. Kostis Hatzidakis , Vice President of the Government of the Hellenic Republic, presented the award.

The evening brought together distinguished representatives from the worlds of business, policy, and culture for a celebration of leadership that transcends borders and reinforces Europe’s enduring values and global relevance.

Speeches were delivered by Spyros Theodoropoulos, Chairman of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, and Matthieu Pigasse, Partner at Centerview Partners, followed by the official award presentation, a musical performance, and a reception overlooking the Acropolis.

Through this new initiative, the Delphi Economic Forum reaffirms its commitment to promoting dialogue, cooperation, and the individuals shaping a more resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking Europe.
