💥"Out of the box" has a great meaning about my artistic process through the years. It was created on 2024 when I had my first try on being a full-time artist.
It was one of the most difficult periods of my life because I had to deal not only with economic aspects of my decision aka survival (!) but also with managing myself on how I see me in that industry. Anxiety hit levels I didn't know they existed and I totally blocked out artistically.
While trying to find my artistic self again I started sketching plants because at the time they helped me relax by taking care of them.
That's how this artwork was created, that's how "CHILL PILL" series became a solo presentation at the wonderful space of back at 2024. Although this first attempt of being a full-time artist seemed to be a failure, later I understood that it was a threshold I had to pass.

Now I'm happy that this piece found its new home!

💥Αν ευχομουν κάτι σήμερα θα ήταν να ξαναβρεί η ανθρωπότητα το θράσος για ζωή. Οπως όταν κάτι έρχεται σε αυτό τον κόσμο παλεύει με νύχια και με δόντια να επιβιώσει χωρίς να αντιλαμβάνεται τι κάνει.
Είμαι σίγουρη ότι θα το βρει το θράσος αυτό και τότε η "αδυναμία" του ατόμου σε διάφορα επίπεδα δε θα θεωρείται προσωπική "αποτυχία" ή ατομικη ευθυνη αλλά μια αφορμή για την κοινωνία να αντικρύσει τα λάθη της και να τα αντιμετωπίσει, συλλογικά.💥

💥My favourite kind of chaos💥

I really enjoyed the making process of these artworks. As you can see it all started with a flat layer of aluminium foil. I've learnt a lot during the last 2 months and now a new chapter begins were I can use this knowledge to create more images that are hidden in my mind

💥I've been silent lately about my artistic process but the truth is that I spend most of my day in my studio behind closed doors. Many things changed lately and I'm glad that I have the opportunity to work and work concentrated. I'm working on something totally new to me and when the time is right you'll see the results.
