It is a great pleasure to invite you to the Thessaloniki Rhino Days οn Μay 14-17, 2025.

In a period of 4 days we will accommodate two international courses, one in rhinoplasty (2 days) and one endoscopic sinus surgery (2 days) with national and international faculty. There is a significant discount if one chooses to do both!

The courses will be organized by the 1st Academic ENT Department at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Rhinoplasty course, May 14-15, 2025

There is no doubt that the functional and aesthetic surgery of the nose is a complex operation with a difficult learning curve and will always be a challenge for every Otorhinolaryngologist, Plastic Surgeon and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

The programme is structured in such a way that participants will be able to learn the basic techniques but will be also updated on the latest more advanced techniques of rhinoplasty. Dissection on fresh frozen specimens will provide training in surgical skills for the first 26 registered participants. Video sessions, case presentations, injectables and fillers in and around the nose will be organized by and discussed with the experts.

Endoscopic sinus surgery course, May 16-17, 2025

Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (ESS) has been evolving with tremendous speed over the last three decades. As expected, the demand for training in the endoscopic techniques is continuously growing. Participants will learn and improve their skills in ESS through lectures and cadaver dissections (for the first 26 registered). In the lab, participants will familiarize themselves with different applications of powered instrumentation. All lab stations will have image guidance.

We will try to meet the training needs of all participants, by tailoring their dissection plan according to their individual needs and training level (a questionnaire will be sent before the course).

Thessaloniki is a historic, cosmopolitan and multicultural city and the weather in May usually averages 24 degrees.

Αγαπητοί συνάδελφοι,

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας προσκαλούμε στο 16ο Πανελλήνιο Κτηνιατρικό Συνέδριο, που θα διεξαχθεί από τις 31 Οκτωβρίου έως τις 2 Νοεμβρίου 2025 στο Makedonia Palace στη Θεσσαλονίκη.

Το Πανελλήνιο Κτηνιατρικό Συνέδριο, με πολυετή παράδοση, αποτελεί θεσμό για την ελληνική κτηνιατρική κοινότητα, συγκεντρώνοντας κορυφαίους επιστήμονες, ερευνητές και επαγγελματίες του χώρου και προάγοντας την Κτηνιατρική επιστήμη εδώ και δεκαετίες.

Η Ελληνική Κτηνιατρική Εταιρεία, το παλαιότερο επιστημονικό κτηνιατρικό σωματείο της χώρας, συμπλήρωσε το 2024 τα 100 χρόνια από την ίδρυσή της. Το 2025 διανύουμε το πρώτο έτος του δεύτερου αιώνα της Εταιρείας με νέο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο. Με το βλέμμα στο μέλλον, συνεχίζουμε την προσπάθεια των προηγούμενων διοικήσεων της Εταιρείας και προσβλέπουμε σε αγαστή συνεργασία μεταξύ των διαφόρων κλάδων της Κτηνιατρικής.

Το 16 Πανελλήνιο Κτηνιατρικό Συνέδριο θα αποτελέσει έναν μοναδικό χώρο συνάντησης για Κτηνιάτρους επαγγελματίες, ερευνητές και φοιτητές από όλες τις ειδικότητες. Σκοπός μας είναι να αναδείξουμε τις πλέον πρόσφατες εξελίξεις, να ενισχύσουμε τη συνεργασία μεταξύ των διαφόρων τομέων και να δώσουμε απαντήσεις στις προκλήσεις της εποχής μας μέσα από έναν πλούσιο διάλογο και ανταλλαγή γνώσεων.

As a tribute to our ancestors, we have been working for decades to welcome our international colleagues. Under the auspices of ERS, IRS and ISIAN, we have been given the opportunity to host in 2025.

Welcome to ICE 2025

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to welcome you to the 50th International Congress on Electrocardiology on May 30-June 1st 2025 at the historic city of Thessaloniki, Greece, jointly organized by ISHNE and ISE, in association with the Hellenic Society of Cardiology and the Cyprus Medical association.

The scientific program has been meticulously designed to blend state-of-the-art advancements with hands-on education, and will host an exceptional gathering of world-renowned experts in electrocardiology, electrophysiology, cardiogenetics, alongside with pioneers in novel technologies and digital health. Additionally there is an abstract competition, where accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Electrocardiology and a Young investigator Award will be conferred.
For younger cardiologists, we offer an ECG and pacemaker masterclass. Additionally, ISHNE Young will host a mentorship roundtable, fostering dialogue between emerging talents and esteemed leaders in the field, and a psychological empowerment and resilience workshop aiming to equip young and older colleagues with tools to navigate adversity, manage stress, and build resilience in their daily clinical lives.

Beyond the scientific sessions, Thessaloniki offers a vibrant backdrop for networking and cultural exploration. The timing of the Congress—late spring—presents the perfect opportunity to experience the city’s iconic landmarks, museums, and warm Mediterranean atmosphere.
