“Silver Axion” promises to create a new production to meet the needs and aesthetics of the international market. Over the years, through religious fermentation, spiritual search, disputes and divisions there was created that which we call Byzantine Iconography. Outstanding members and fathers of the church, (St. John of Damascus, St. Basil and others) formed the Byzantine pattern and Byzantine style. As time passed the pictures became a synthesis of Greek, Roman and Christian culture, becoming sacred objects and an integral part of the Greek Orthodox culture. Today we are proud to continue using the same traditional methods that our ancestors used years ago. To create an icon great talent and patience is required. Everything starts from the creation department which is the heart of the company. Our designers, painters and craftsmen work with respect and love for the Byzantine tradition, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, we produce exact copies of Byzantine Icons, using canvas, wood and silver. Thus we produce exact copies of great detail and exquisite artistic value
Our great variety of Icons, using silver and gold mirror the Byzantine technique using original serigraphy colors, printed on canvas, which remain unchanged over time. Our company uses the last technologies to create molds from original art work or from simple picture or even by pure inspiration of our creative department. Our technique used, allows for reproduction without losing any detaisl from the original icon. To improve our production we have developed special methods for coating and protecting silver, allowing us to keep the original luster for a long time. Our control of production is guaranteed by ensuring quality of raw materials and their processing. The quality department ensures that all products meet the high standards of “Silver Axion”. The final stage is delivery of production to our clients directly and in excellent condition. For this reason we have developed our own distribution network. Our network is spreading worldwide and there are dealers and distributors almost everywhere in the world.
