Datafunc
Sustainable growth
powered by data
Our core process helps you discover Business Growth opportunities and Optimize your Return On Investment.
Lead generation stops scaling the moment it becomes a spreadsheet exercise.
Many teams still rely on UTMs, static Sheets, and periodic manual analysis to understand performance. This approach can work at low volume, but it quickly becomes a bottleneck as scale increases and decisions need to happen faster.
At Datafunc, we approach lead generation as a data system rather than a reporting task. By organizing attribution and conversion data in a first-party data layer built on Google Cloud and BigQuery, performance signals become structured, consistent, and usable beyond surface-level metrics.
This allows teams to evaluate lead generation based on lead quality and downstream impact and, over time, return higher-quality conversion signals back to ad platforms without changing the overall media strategy.
The outcome is less manual work, faster decision-making, and better allocation of marketing spend across the funnel.
In performance marketing, efficiency is driven by speed and accuracy, supported by systems that minimize manual work.

From Google Penalty to 393% Growth:
The Real Story Behind Periodista gr's Recovery
When Periodista(dot)gr approached us with a severe Google penalty affecting their visibility across Search, Discover, and News, we didn't make grand promises. Instead, we analyzed the data and identified the actual problems.
The raw numbers tell the story better than buzzwords ever could:
Google News: +393% increase in clicks (24.7K → 121.8K)
Google Discover: 58.7% growth reaching 1.8M clicks and 8.66M monthly impressions
Google Search: 145% increase in overall impressions with significant SERP recovery (from 340K to 834K)
How?
A methodical, data-driven approach:
1. Technical Optimization:
Comprehensive content and site audit, canonical tag fixes, and crawl budget optimization—not just surface-level tweaks
2. UX Improvement:
A/B tested template refinements based on measurable engagement metrics,
3. Strategic Content:
Performance-based optimization focusing on high-impact articles and topics aligned with actual search intent
No marketing hype, just measurable results achieved through strategic implementation and constant analysis.
The most valuable insight?
Recovery from penalties or even huge drops requires precision, not panic.
By systematically addressing the actual issues rather than symptoms, we created a foundation for sustainable growth that extends beyond the immediate recovery.

Google ADS: Create and Install Manual Conversion Action | Datafunc Knowing your visitors behaviour and interaction with your website is vital so as to be able to accurately evaluate your Google ads performance
Πώς το κάναμε;
Η συνέχεια στο pdf/carousel
