Stoner/Heavy Rock trio from Athens-Greece
New album "Mothertruck" out now via Octopus Rising/Argonauta Records.
Fuzzing Nation is a Greek Stoner/desert rock band and formed in December 2022 by Stavros Giannakos (bass), Terry Moros (drums) and Aggelos Ioannidis (guitar/vocals). Stavros Giannakos and Aggelos Ioannidis have been members of the power/doom metal band Sorrows Path since 1996 and 1993 respectively and in other bands in 90's and Terry Moros was drummer of Crystal Clear, InnerWish and solo Artist Chryso Stamatopoulou.

The Athenians Fuzzing Nation belong to the old school of stoner rock, with thick and rough riffs, rich in fuzz, punchy, and a lively cadence that recalls the heavier moments of Kyuss, with beautiful swirling solos that unleash the acid and psychedelic leanings of the Nostrini in a whirl of effects (Burning Roads).
The band donāt reinvent anything, but they craft instantly catchy songs that know how to grab attention because they are powerful, fast, and packed with the right dose of groove: small anthems to be played at full volume while driving down a dusty highway (the title track, I Donāt Believe, with a touch of retro punk grit, The Core Machine).
There is excellent use of fuzz and wah wah, especially in the solos, which help create that op**te and expansive atmosphere of true desert rock (The Open Wound). Alongside the more forceful tracks there are also immediate, narcoleptic raga-like passages that add variety (Dead Old Tree, Turn The Key) and build the right slow and hypnotic atmosphere.
Every now and then they play with a bit of rough-edged irony (I Donāt Care At All), and overall they are appreciated for their genuine and authentic spirit.

The āMothertruckā album presentation at AN club 'official' was pure chaos, heavy riffs and unreal energy from beginning to end.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out and shook the walls with us. Massive respect to Under The Sun for igniting the night, and endless thanks to Papanikolaou Babis from Planet of Zeus and Argyris Galiatsatos from Nightstalker for sharing the stage with us and making this night unforgettable.
This was heavy rock the way itās supposed to be.

Out of nearly 200 releases submitted worldwide, being part of this list curated by underground journalists, bloggers and heavy music devotees means everything to us.
From dusty desert grooves to fuzz-drenched riffs, this record was built exactly the way we wanted - raw, loud and honest. Seeing it recognized among so many killer releases is a massive milestone.
